Situated in a great location, the whole complex is kept very clean and tidy. The apartment was very well equipped and all of my party were very pleased with our choice of accomodation. The only drawback was that we only had one set of keys for apartment which you needed on entering and leaving the complex as well. This made it tricky for our party since there were 3 sets of couples wanting to go out and explore on their own. However we still managed and had a fab time. Only one other point to note is that we would have been very grateful for air conditioning (since we went in July and it was very hot) however we were aware that there was none at time of booking. Apartment did however have standalone fans.

The apartment is part of an attractive development with an excellent set of leisure pools.
However, the apartment itself was disappointing. There is no air conditioning which we expected in a modern development and only one bathroom. Also there is no lounge, just a settee in the kitchen/diner. Basically what was there was fine, the problem is what was not there.

Everything commented on was clearly stated in the Home description, no surprises.
Perhaps if the description had been read in more detail you would have looked elsewhere.
One reason for not having aircon is the cost ( higher rental) and the fact that most people have it on with the doors and windows open.
We have high vaulted ceilings and large fans are avialable for all rooms.
There are steel shutters which can be left closed during the day which keep most of the heat out and also the sun rises on the kitchen/verandah side each morning and passes over to the other side.
Yes it gets warm, but that is why we go there.

We liked the area in which the property was situated . It was about a 10 minute walk to the large lake beach which had a nice bar /restaurant and pedaloes to rent .
The appartment was spatious and airy despite not having air conditioning and our 11 year old liked the novelty of sleeping in the tower . We used the barbecue on several evenings and the terrace was shady enough to lunch there as well .
The pool was lovely and very child friendly . As not many appartments were occupied during our stay it wasnt busy and ball games and inflatables were allowed which kept the children
amused .
In short a well equipped accomodation and a good base from which to explore.

The Appartment was excellent value for money, we had a very enjoyable stay the pool was good and the location excellent very close to Simione. The Ice Cream Cafe VERY HIGHLY recommended. The bikes were great as i have 4 children and the sizes matched perfect for our family of 6. A good selec tion of movies and books in the appartment. We would definately recommend it. The only dissapointments were no Air Conditioning (and it was very Hot) and there is some building work going on, on site so had a wake up call at 7.30 each morning. But overall excellent. Thank You.

We thoroughtly enjoyed our stay at Villa Da Vinci. The location is perfect for such a wide variety of activities from Gardaland and water parks through to climbing mountains and visiting Venice! The lakeside itself is breathtaking, and the children loved swimming off the back of pedaloes and canoeing etc.
While we were there all the other residents were Italian. They were incredibly welcoming and our family was actively encouraged to join in with their games of water polo in the shared pool. (The pool was plenty big enough for others to swim or lie on lilos while the games went on). Language was never a barrier, despite the fact that none of us speak a word of Italian!
The apartment itself was very comfortable and if anything the pictures on the web site do not do it full justice. The facilities were very good, and the provision of bicycles is inspired! We cycled up the peninsular of Sirmione a couple of times and saved a lot on car parking costs! Also the bikes were great for popping to the shops etc. The whole area is very bike friendly. There are 3 adult sized bikes, 2 teenage sized ones and one pre-teen sized bike.
Plenty of good places to eat out, and of course you MUST try out the ice-cream cafe on the main road near the lakeside one evening (or more!)
I would definitely recommend this villa as an excellent value apartment in a superb location.
