We have just returned from this Villa and spent a relaxing week in this superb area in this lovely villa. The villa was very clean, well equipped and well designed. The area is great for walking and sight seeing, certainly off the beaten track but that was the attraction. We gasped when we first saw the views from the villa, it is in the mountain looking down a valley to the sea. We had a rainy day where we were in the clouds but then spent the evening drinking sangria in front of a log fire - brilliant. It has no near neighbours but you feel secure because of the decorative bars on the on the windows. We visited in November so didnt use the pool but had several breakfasts outside looking at the views. Will definately go again for a relaxing break. Many thanks Sebastian.

Just returned from this wonderfully equipped villa. It is away from everything, peace and quiet at all times, but within easy driving distance of the many white hillside towns of the region, and only 30 minutes drive to the popular coastal towns. Would recommend a big shop before arriving at the property. The owner very pleasant and very informative, easy instructions to follow to meet him so that he can show you the way to the villa. An ideal holiday destination if you require an undisturbed holiday to recharge your batteries.

From the moment we arrived this villa surpassed our expectations. The villa itself is very well equipped and comfortable. Sebastian met us and took us to the property as it really is off the beaten track which is exactly what we were looking for. The villa is really secluded and we could have happily not left the property for the week. Total privacy, no near neighbours, beautiful views across the hills to the sea, lovely clean pool with a comfortable shaded terrace to sit and eat out outside. Our children spent many happy hours in the pool and playground, and given the choice to stay at the villa or find a beach they chose to stay at the villa, that,s how good it was.
lovely area for BBQ, although you need to stock up prior to arrival with supplies as it is a bit of a trek to the nearest big supermarket. We had really good directions and found the shops and meeting place very easily.
We did venture out on our daughters 8th birthday to the water park (Aquavelius) behind the shopping centre which was a nice size given that our children are quite young.
We had a wonderful week in this lovely place and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking peace, privacy and relaxation in beautiful surroundings.

We stayed in June 2010 at Casa Las Jaras. The villa was as described clean, very comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely position. The pool and terraces were perfect for private sunbathing, swimming, playing and outdoor dining. The coastline is about 25 kms away but the inland regions are much more interesting with some stunning scenery and pretty white villages. We enjoyed evening walks around the villa spotting eagles, buzzards and hawks overhead. I would recommend this villa for those who want to be in comfortable pleasant suroundings away from the crowds.

Wij hebben erg genoten van het comfort in en om het huisje, van het prachtige uitzicht over de vallei en de rust en de privacy. Zelfs begin april was het er overwegend prachtig weer. Zwemmen in het eigen zwembad was nog wat fris maar toch een aantrekkelijke en welkome afwisseling bij het zonnebaden. Boven op de berg ƕ autominuutjes) begint een wandelroute in het Nationale Park. De wandelroutes zijn nog niet heel duidelijk aangegeven maar met wat richtinggevoel verdwaal je niet zomaar en kun je er prachtig wandelen in de omgeving over bergflanken met schilderachtige witte dorpjes en mooie vergezichten om je heen. De keuken is groot genoeg om voor een week boodschappen te bergen en kokkerellen is er geen straf met alle moderne apparatuur aanwezig! Ook lekker barbequen buiten en gezellig borrelen bij een warme en uitstekend vlammende openhaard horen helemaal bij het optimale vakantiegevoel. Absoluut een aanrader dus wat ons betreft.
