The surrounding area is relatively flat allowing access to the town centre, marina and beach. There is a slight incline from beach level to complex and from the complex entrance to the apartment entrance. This is unlikely to be a problem for a motorised wheelchair or if the carer is able-bodied. Easiest access is via car using garage entrance with 5yd walk to lift. The apartment bathroom is not suitable for wheelchair entry, and there is a 6" step when accessing the terrace and terrace bedroom. )

  • Alta Entinas is an attractive high quality secure complex occupying an excellent location close to all amenities set within extensive tropical gardens. There is a 24hr security barrier, security cameras & phone entry system to the apartment. A private secure underground parking space is available with 5 lifts. There is a beautiful beach like pool with children’s pool and play area. 2 life guards are on duty at all times. For the energetic -tennis courts, five aside football, basket ball, jogging area & cycling area are situated to the rear of the complex overlooking the idyllic natural park of Punta Entinas.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a west facing patio area, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment was excellent, very well equiped. Nothing was missing. We spend holidays in Spain for about 16 years and this one of the bests ap. weve been. Julie was very helpfull and nice with us. We loved the place! We want to come back next year. Almerimar is a wonderfull village, very quiet and pleasant and Alta Entinas is very good. Unfortunately we have to tell you something that was very unpleasant although we know it isnt your fault but we think you must be warned about. The people in the ap. next to yours (a spanish couple in ap 5) decided to do alterations on their ap. during the holidays. They build up a new room and for the time we stayed there, there noise and dust everyday from 9 to 5. It was horrible. We couldnt rest in the morning or in the afternoon. We had to clean the balcony several times a day.We spoke to Julie and she went to the Administration but they didnt do nothing. They hammered and they sew all day long. The apartment is on a very well maintained, safe complex, and is of a very high standard. The internal furnishing and facilities are excellent and it would be hard to find a better equipped apartment. Very comfortable and spacious. Almerimar itself is a lovely place and miles away from the dross of Benidorm. Although it is more upmarket it is not overpriced or snobby. All the Spanish bars give free Tapas with a drink, so when they ask if you want food say yes. Overall a beautiful apartment on a lovely complex in what is now my favourite part of Spain.

Hi Just to say, we had a great time at the apartment, everything as described & more. The kids loved the pool & the bikes gave them more freedom to explore the beach, national park, marina & surrounding area We flew to Almeria & picked up the car, the directions were spot on the underground parking was a blessing in the heat. The ‘refreshments’ in the fridge - a very welcome, welcome. We visited the water park in Roquetas, enjoyed a trip to the Sierra Nevada Mountains to visit the Ski resort at Pradollano. We’re definitely going to give the skiing a try next year as its only 2 hours away. Restaurants & bars are inexpensive, especially the Chinese, very good value. We shopped at the local supermarket & found it reasonably priced with a good fresh seafood selec tion. The apartment is spacious & well equipped, the beds are comfy with crisp linen, and even beach towels are included. The information pack was spot on very helpful. The apartment could not be faulted in any way, and the standard of cleanliness excellent. We couldn’t have asked for more the weather was good, sunny and warm. We really did have a great time. Hi Graeme & Lorna Just a quick note to let you know what a fantastic time we had in your apartment, it was just as luxurious and comfortable as you said it would be! What made it really special where all the extras that you provided for us, the bikes, the facilities in the kitchen. The kids had a great time at the pool, sunbathing & swimming at the beach, just down the road. At night there was plenty of entertainment at the port, they especially enjoyed ’Leos’ bar. Playing pool and singing along to the karaoke. Occasionally we ate out in the port area and we were spoilt for choice with the many different restaurants. Excellent tapas at’ la Caleta’. We flew to Malaga and found it a very easy and enjoyed the drive to Almerimar in the car we hired. We visited many of the local areas and went up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the beautiful city of Granada. We also went to see the cave dwellings in Guadix. We are looking forward to going back again next year. P.S The bottle of wine was a nice touch. Many thanks Steve and Kara. (June 2007)

What a beautiful area, your apartment is fantastic & is as well equipped just as described with good quality furniture and large comfortable sofas, a very large balcony & good sized kitchen. This apartment is well laid out with plenty of space & close to all amenities. Excellent value for money. We came out of season, so we new the pool would be closed, but with only a short walk to the beach it wasn’t a problem. The marina is well placed with bars, nice restaurants & shops the supermarket is well stocked & reasonably priced. The beaches are very clean. The golf course looks great & will definitely giving it a try next time. To sum up, if you want a lovely, lazy, chilled out break away in the sunshine, this is great accommodation, great quality and great value. Sue & Pete (March 2007)
