My husband and I stayed at the Grange for a month, and enjoyed every minute. The village is charming, quiet and authentic. It is very close to Beaune as well to the many small villages, all of which merit investigation. The beautiful Burgundian vineyards, both North and South of Beaune are easily accessible.
The house is beautifully renovated to accommodate two people perfectly. While the location of the bedroom upstairs / bathroom down is not ideal, it works, and maximizes the space and light. The kitchen was completely adequate for two people without the desire to cook elaborate dinners, and the dining area convenient. The living room and patio by the pool are charming. The internet was very satisfactory. The pool was well maintained, and delightfully private. The property is lovely. The owners were most helpful and accommodating.
I heartily recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful holiday in the country. Our days were spent bicycling through the surrounding countryside, and we developed a number of spectacular routes. But others would find different ways to enjoy this beautiful house and region.

The owner ( Michael) met us at the property and provided some essential supplies, opened a bottle of wine and went over the local area restaurants, supermarkets etc , this was extremely welcoming after the long drive from the UK.We couldnt have hoped for a better situated or furnished property, complete with its` own heated pool. It was in a quiet village which is precisely what we were after, but still only 10 minutes drive to the centre of Beaune, fantastic. Its well situated for travelling around the area making the most of the local food and wine.

A wonderful place in a superb location, it is truly special. The cottage is furnished to an excellent standard with a high quality finish and a beautiful place to stay. The private pool is also excellent and is big enough to swim in and relax. Weather you want a romantic break just to chill out and do nothing or get out and about, you couldn’t ask for a better location.
The Grange itself is in a wonderful position surrounded by rolling countryside covered in miles upon miles of vineyards all waiting to be explored. This I would highly recommend, the wines are wonderful and of excellent quality and the location of the property actually makes it possible to walk to the winery’s if you fancy tasting some of the local and best wines around. The local villages are also easily accessible with a copious amount of quality restaurants serving amazing and gastronomic food. To sum it up I’d say book it and go and love it for what it is. You will have a fantastic time it is a wonderful place and we can’t wait to go again.
