Location
Summerhaus is located above the main Achter 8 gondola station near the main slope. Its just over 100 metres for ski-in and ski-out access.
It is also only a several minutes walk into the centre of Flachau.
Flachau is at the heart of the Ski Weit region, which provides approx 250kms of piste, one of the largest in Austria. The Ski Weit ares is a part of the larger Ski Amade Region, which is Europes largest ski region with >850kms of piste.
Flachua is well situated for both skiers and for tourists in either winter or summer. It is located just off the A10 motorway, which means great access to and from Salzburg or to many of Austrias other centres such as Badgastein (20 minutes) Schladming (20 mintes), Zell Am See (35 minutes) and Kitzbuhel (50 minutes). Even Munich is reachable in just >2 hours with door to door access via the Austrian and German motorway system.
There are also good transport systems to and from Salzburg and Munich Airports to Flachau with regular bus and taxi services.

Local Amenities
Flachau attracts visitors all year round, not just for skiing.
The village is an attractive traditional style village, with plenty of amenities: supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, bars, etc.
Flachau is a great centre for summer outdoor activities: white water rafting, cycling, mountain biking and hiking. Some of the ski lifts remain open all year round, enabling access into the mountains for walking and biking. Nearby there is a Golf Course and Swimming Pool and Childrens Activity Park.
