Inside the Villa
Access to the Villa is through security gates into a small courtyard, with car parking space for 2 cars to the left. The villa is built on 3 levels.
Enter the villa via open porch and through a pine door into the large, light and airy living room, which is comfortably furnished with sofas, armchairs, coffee table, small tables and drinks trolley. There is a flat screen TV, which shows the free to air channels, DVD and music centre. The open fireplace can be used when the evenings get a little cooler. Large, sliding, glass doors open up onto the upper veranda which is equipped with drinks table and chairs. Relax and enjoy the pretty views across pueblo. This veranda gives access to the upper sun terrace which has a large wooden table and chairs and a portable barbeque, should you want to prepare lunch or dinner.
The Master bedroom with large ‘en-suite’ is to the left of the entrance hall. It is sunny and bright and sliding doors lead to the upper veranda. It is configured with twin beds and free standing, white bedroom furniture and large built in wardrobe. The ‘en-suite’ has two wash hand basins, bidet, full bath with shower fitment and large ‘walk in’ shower, all clad in wall to ceiling ceramic tiles. There is a reverse air unit in the bedroom, which keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Bedrooms two & three are also twin bedded, also have reverse air units and are configured as twin bedded rooms. Both have white free standing furniture and large build in wardrobes with drawers.

From the living room you take the spiral staircase down to the 5th bedroom, shower room, kitchen, dining room and access to the pool, bar and barbeque terrace.
Fifth bedroom has a double bed and fully fitted bedroom furniture and reverse air unit. There is also a double sofa bed for an extra person. Sliding patio doors, with security grills, lead to a self contained terrace, complete with table and chairs.
Next to the 5th bedroom is a utility room with washing machine and an extra fridge/freezer. There is also a small gym room with cross trainer, treadmill and other smaller equipment.
Downstairs you also find the open plan kitchen & dining rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a high level and low level oven, ceramic hob, integral fridge, separate freezer and dishwasher and microwave. For dining, there is a large table with upholstered dining chairs and a smaller table and chairs. A central ceiling fan will keep you cool. There is also a 32” TV showing ‘free to air channels’. Large glass sliding doors take you out to the pool, bar, terrace and garden areas.
The sunny terrace and pool have pretty views across the countryside and overlook the grassed garden, which has fruit trees, stairway and is enclosed.
Outside Villa
Access to the pool, bar and barbecue is via sliding doors from the dining room. The pool has a 12ft deep end and 3ft shallow end. The surrounding lighting allows you to take that midnight swim. A unique Happys Bar is situated in the shaded area of the pool terrace, complete with bar stools, outside sofas, chairs and tables to relax and enjoy your aperitifs or after dinner drinks, and has lighting and ceiling fans to help keep you cool on hot, sunny days. The sunny, south facing terrace has picturesque views across the countryside to the far off mountains, and is equipped with dining table and chairs so you can take your meals ‘al fresco’. A stairway takes you to the garden, which is laid to grass and planted with various fruit trees.
Local Area & Out & About
Cerros del Aguila (Eagles Nest) is a small purpose built village less than 10 minutes drive from the town of Fuengirola, where you will find bars, restaurants and entertainments to suite all tastes.
A 3 minute walk from the villa takes you to the centre of the village, where there is a mini-market, bar and snack bar, a tennis court, communal pool (which all guests can use) and restaurant with outside terrace overlooking the picturesque comunity gardens and pool.
The large, new shopping and cinema complex is just down the road, here you can buy almost everything, there is an enormous supermarket, and you can eat in one of the many restaurants, or even see the latest films in English!
Malaga Airport is only 20 minutes drive away.
Mijas Pueblo, one of the most picturesque ‘White Villages’ in the south of Spain, is a typical Andalucian village with narrow cobbled streets, flower decked balconies, intriguing shops and a vast choice of restaurants.
Nearby Fuengirola, is a well established family beach holiday resort, with beaches shops, bars, restaurant, entertainments, zoo and Aquapark.
Marbella an old, walled town enclosing Orange Square, surrounded by narrow lanes of exclusive shops, where you can sip fresh Orange juice or chocolate and churros, whilst watching the world go by, or perhaps a glass of wine alongside the glamorous marina in Puerto Banus, where you might spot a famous face or tow.
Malaga, the origins of which go back to the Phoenicians and Greeks, still retains its Spanish charm with its original bodegas and tapas bars, with fascinating architecture, including the Cathedral and La Alcazaba, a Moorish fortress so lavishly appointed that it rivalled any of the principal Arabian palaces.
Travel inland, a pleasant journey through Orange, lemon and olive groves or via a winding maintaining road, takes you to Rhonda perched high on a rock and divided into two parts by a 90 metre gorge, with its white washed Moorish houses, Arabian baths and one of the oldest Bullrings (1785) in Spain. The impressive Garganta del Chorro is a deep gorge where the Guardalhorce river flows, and beyond this the spectacular chasm to the ‘Spanish Lake District’
The choices are too numerous to mention, for a full day trip, it is possible to visit Nerja, Granada, Cadiz, Seville and Gibraltar. For the more adventurous, Tangiers is a short trip away by ferry or hydrofoil.
