Why Bansko?

The beautiful old town of Bansko provides many things you just do not get in most Alpine resorts. An ancient town full of character, with stone built medieval buildings ( not a 1960s built ski resort) the smell of the log fires in the evenings is fantastic. The town is occupied throughout the year by the locals and provides an excellent base for enjoying the skiing in the winter or the mountains and lakes in the summer with the international jazz festival held each August.

The apartment block is located perfectly a short walking distance from both the gondola station and the main town. It is a small block of 22 apartments so friendly and cosy but with 24 hour security, a sauna and ski lockers.
This modern building provides substantial accommodation with over 80 square metres of living space, 2 balconies and views to the Pirin mountains. The apartment has fully adjustable heating in all rooms and excellent storage.

Other facilities locally
The majority of restaurants are a short walk away, the closest being 50 yards. Two small grocery stores are within 100 yards.
The law in Bulgaria requires all hotels to make their facilities available to the public, you can pay a small daily rate and use all of the swimming pools and spa facilities or book treatments in the 5 star hotels, all within a few minutes walk. There is also an ice skating rink and bowling alley close by. The gondola station is a short walk giving access to the ski area. The area is in a national park so there is plenty to do in the summer with beautiful mountain scenery for walking or cycling or lakes for swimming in or relaxing by.
