with lots of big carp up to nearly 60 lb, plus large bream, tench, almost record perch , roach etc,

all on the outskirts of a very quiet & peacefull rural Landais village

10 minutes south of the old roman spa town of Dax.

This must be one of the best places for fun family holidays

even if you dont go fishing for free in the beautiful fishing lake.

You can go for a walk or ride a bicycle around the deserted country lanes

or just relax on your holiday by the 5 meter diameter round swimming pool

while the food cooks on the bbq.

The holiday accommodation (chalet & fishing lodge) are only 10 minutes from Dax by car

(a beautiful market town renowned for its hot water springs and healing mud)

& the famous lac du christus (one of the most beautiful fishing lakes in France )

with its monster carp , pike , zander and black bass.

Only 35 minutes from some of the best beaches in france including Biarritz,

with its international airport, beautiful coastline and wonderful surfing.

45 minutes from Pau airport and one hour from the Pyrenees mountains

The cabin is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a garden, a south facing patio area, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Smallwater lakes well wat can I say an outstanding venue with excellent fishing fish are in great condition and Shane,rula.taylor and off course buster the dog are such lovely people nothing is to much trouble for them couldnt hope for a better trip cant wait for my trip back ther next year.

This is a great place to stay if you want to just "get away in a rustic chalet" and if you have children, the property is BEAUTIFUL. We arent fishing fans but we chose this property based on the beautiful lake, pool and over all setting. The owners were great and very responsive to any question or need we had. Wonderful place overall!

17th Sept - 22nd Sept 2011 Thank you Shane and Rula for a wonderful relaxing week. We needed a break and you provided the perfect one with the chalet. The small details made it faultless, your kindness and attention made it very homely and special. Roo caught a 33 lb mirror carp & a 31 lb common carp and this was a lazy fisherman ! Really enjoyed it ! Will be back to try out the lodge, looks amazing !! and do some full on fishing ! We may leave the lake next time-but probably not, why would we want to ? :) Thanks again for an amazing peaceful break, Amy & Roo Buckinghamshire.

6th - 12 November A very very big than you to Shane, Rula and little Taylor for having me on my 21st birthday. I really enjoyed every second of every day. From the moment I arrived the fishing was great, much better than the UK. I came here to beat my pb carp and did that three times on the first day ( 21 lb common, 26 lb common, 27 lb common and then a 44 lb common all on my first day. Caught many more through out the week, the sun was shining and had a lovely time. The chalet was so nice and clean with nice rooms and great kitchen, very well equiped. Shane gave me some tips on fishing his lake and they worked a treat, I had many of the carp thanks to Shane, including my new pb :) I will be back in 2012 with my partner and baby for one of those fifties. BIG, BIG, BIG, THANK YOU :) Luke, Blackpool.

we had a fantastic honeymoon in truely stunning suroundings with the most profesional and friendly hosts any body could wish to meet and their lovely little bag of joy Taylor. i had a pb leather and a pb common both lovely clean fish and too many more to mention.
