As a party of 10 people travelling through the night & on reaching the villa at 6.30 am, could not gain entrance, due to being given the wrong key code was not a good start, especially as the directions given by yourselfs to us, which we gave to our tranfers company, left us being lost & unable to actually find the villa.
The emergency telephone number i was supplied with, no one answered until 8.15am. This left us stranded for over 2 hours.
Luckily the local shop provided us at a cost a breakfast etc, until the emergency telephone number was answered by the villa owners who told us, we had been given the wrong key code.
On looking at the villa, which was in desperate need of a paint. plus the following: The pool was disgusting, it was green, The outside light was broke & hanging. There was broken light shades & the electric cover, left lying on the patio .The welcome pack is out of date & is actually for the villa pumpkin & not villa Torro. The shower door on the second floor was broke & water leaked over the floor everytime we showered. The living room doors were locked shut & didnt open to go out to the pool area. There was Ants. There was no change of bed linen.
In a previous review it had been stated that there was a lack of cooking untensils, well this is still the case, there is no salad bowl etc. There is the very basics of plates, bowls, cups, glasses, x1 pyrex dish & saucepans. So when we wanted to do salads etc we had to use saucepans & save empty food containers to use.
However, one of the most annoying & inconvienant issues was the fact of only having x1 key, with 10 people sharing a villa, some wanted to stay out later than others, but we could not leave the key in the key code box as people staying in, needed to put the key in the slot for electric, so someone had to stay up & wait to let the others in.
We also feel your advert showing the villa needs to be updat ed as the road is now in full use & as the pool area has no railings or barrier of any kind, this leaves it very open with no privacy etc.

the villa itself was very modern spacious and clean. There were plenty of plates cups ect in the kitchen but no serving bowls to put salad ect in. The pool was adequate but the fact that it was on the front of the house right next to a dual carriageway did spoil the experience of relaxing by the pool. Also it took at least 30 minutes to walk to the beach, some sort of local map would have been helpfull as on the first day we didnt even know which direction to walk in to find the beach
Owner reply:
We are sorry you feel the villa was not to your satisfaction, however there is plenty of crockery including salad serving bowls. The pool is of a good size as most other villas in the area have the same size pool only shared amongst three to four apartments or two villas.Since early this year the marina has been developed & the main road now runs infront of the villas, however this is not very busy as not completed as a dual carriageway yet. This is something we had no control over as been indicated in your contract. As far as no map, if you would have looked in the large Welcome pack we put together for our guests you would find everything from directions & a map to main town & beaches, sightseeing information & emergency telephone numbers.I do not understand why it took you 30 minutes to reach the town unless you were going round in a circle as it only takes a maximum of 15minutes.We do feel that if you had looked around & had the chance to view many other villas i can assure you, you would not find one furnished as luxuriously as ours with a private pool of that size for that price.Maybe you should compare from looking at different villas on the internet & you will see that you had a really good deal at a very opulent villa!
