The Area

For visitors to Turgutreis, there should be no shortage of things to do while on holiday. Turgutreis is one of Turkey’s premier tourist destinations and because the city’s main source of income is generated from tourism, there has been special attention put into creating a fun and lively atmosphere.

Turgutreis is a costal city situated in Turkey’s southwest province of Mugla. It buts up to the Mediterranean Sea, and because of this, many of the activities offered there involve water in some form or another. Spending time at the beach is a favourite past time for visitors to Turgutreis. It is no wonder, because the surrounding area has miles of sandy beaches stretching in both directions. Some of the more popular ones can get very crowded, but getting to quieter areas is possible.

Yachting is one of Turgutreis most popular nautical sports. The marina has been rebuilt and now boasts an array of designer shops and swanky restaurants, its facilities now allow even more boats to come into the area. Other water activities offered in Turgutreis include wind surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, and scuba diving. The Bodrum peninsula (on which Turgutreis is located) is one of the best diving locations in Turkey.

Kadikalesi Local Walks
Anyone visiting Turgutreis must visit Rabbit island in Gumsluck. If youre in Turgutreis make your way to Kadikaleski which is only 2 miles away you can either follow the dolmus route or walk along the beach. Leave the beach just before you get to the Club Kadikale Hotel Get back on to the road and follow the road, Gumsluck is about another 2 miles there is a little place on the way that makes large marble statues.Here you will find Rabbit island. It is covered in wild rabbits, and the water is shallow enough to walk to the island .Gumsluk is a lovely little fishing village and you can dine alongside the sea or buy some fish. There is also a place where you can buy a doner kebab for about £1. If you dont want to walk back, there are taxis or the dolmus.

The Villa

In the kitchen you will find a fridge with a small freezer compartment, electric cooker with gas hob toaster and kettle. All the cutlery etc that you could need for 6 people.
The lounge area has a TV and DVD player with a selection of DVD films, why not bring some of your own?

The layout of our Villa is very spacious and is on three levels.

On the first floor there is a large shower room which has a large basin unit and toilet. Also on the first floor is the twin room and the double bedroom, both rooms have large double wardrobes.

For your comfort the twin bedroom and the double bedroom have remote controlled air conditioning fitted, for which there is no extra charge. The double bedroom also has a door out onto a sun terrace.

On the second floor there is a sofa bed and a wardrobe but this area doesnt have a door so its more like an open plan bedroom. There is a external door to the roof terrace and washing lines.

There are a total of 3 sun terraces, one on the second floor one on the first floor and one on the ground floor.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
