Bang Por villa rental

We have rented the The Lotus Beach Villa managed by the housekeeper Rose - the house is fantastic and Rose very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and the villa throughly as the location cant be closer to the beach! You have the option to order groceries for the first day should you not want to bother shopping and all is delivered promptly. The cook, Nang, was one of our best cooks on out Thailand trip and should you not be able to decide what to eat - there is a menu! The villa consists of several buildings and terraces - has an own pool (lap-pool, long and narrow) on the side, but there is the main pool of the resort just in front of the house, right by the beach. It can be a bit bothersome to have the other guests and their children swim etc just in front of your main terrace, but it depends on the occupancy of the other villas and the amout of children around. I was fortunate enough to find The Lotus Terraces through Trip Advisor last year whist searching the net for somewhere to have our wedding on Samui. How grateful I am for stumbling across this place!! Its hard to find the words to sum up how amazing and how beautiful our experience at The Lotus Villa was. The staff greeted us with friendly faces and open arms and thats how they remained for the 4 days we spent there. We cannot thank Rose, "our housekeeper" enough for everything she did for all of us during our stay. We would have taken Rose home with us if we could (although apparently everybody says that). Rose, Jane and Sue arranged absolutely everything we needed and asked for, even if it meant a couple of trips for them to the shops a day! We had the chef, Nang, cook the most delicious, freshest meals every evening for us all. We would definately recommend doing this. The beautiful aroma of Nangs Thai cooking filled the kitchen each evening. The rooms were beautiful and the location stunning. We spent most of the time lounging around the balcony and pools. Not only did we have our own private pool which was nice and cool during the hot days, often we had the beautiful big shared pool to ourselves also. The guys also thoroughly enjoyed having a drink at the little beach bar next door to The Lotus Terraces . So this brings me to my wedding. I cannot thank Ton enough for arranging the most magical day of my life, it truly was a fairytale. After months of emails, Ton had everything covered for my big day like I could not have imagined. She made the wedding almost stress free for us and exactly how we wanted it. Amazing, considering she did not even know me prior to this. The seafood buffet was possibly the most beautiful food I have ever tasted. The only problem with it was there was a little too much food and we were all extremely full by the end of then night as it was too delicious not too eat. I can definately say on behalf of my husband and our friends, that we had the most beautiful and relaxing four days during our stay here. It was probably the best four days of my life so far. I cannot recommend The Lotus Villa at The Lotus Terraces highly enough. We will definatley be returning in the coming years to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed with family and friends at Lotus Villa in May and had an unbelievable time. The villa was fantastic, very spacious and functional. The interior is elegantly and stylishly set out. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the facilities there were great. The views are stunning and the beach is truly on your doorstep. We spent hours sunbathing and enjoying magnificent sunsets, sipping smoothies and eating incredible dishes prepared by the villas chef, Nang. The villa has an entertainment room with a good selec tion of board games, DVDs, a table tennis and billiard table. There is also a wine cellar with view into the pool and a large selec tion of affordable wines. Unfortunately we were told that the villa gym and spa will only be ready at the end of this year, although we made this up with plenty of massages. Thank you to the Lotus Terraces team for making our stay so memorable - especially to Rose for making us feel at home and Sue for giving us the best recommendations for restaurants and activities on the island.
