Internal description of the apartment
It is a bright, sunny split-level apartment. The bedroom is on a lower level than the rest of the flat which gives a nice impression of being separate and more intimate. The living room has a Victorian fireplace and a large bay window overlooking a Gothic church and the tree-lined road with no through traffic and residents parking only. There is a comfy sofa, rocking chair, dining table, writing desk and bookcase. The kitchen is fully-equipped and also has a folding breakfast table and bar chairs. The very spacious bathroom has both a bath tub and shower. Steps lead down from the entrance hall to the bedroom with fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and double glazed windows.
Stroud Green is a popular, multi-cultural area of North London with numerous amenities, restaurants, shops and excellent transport facilities. The added advantage is that the cost of living is more affordable than the more touristy areas of London. The house is set in a quiet side road within easy walking distance of shops, supermarket, post office, banks etc. The Underground station of Finsbury Park is a ten minute walk away and is served by the Victoria and Piccadilly lines. (Zone 2). It takes just 10/15 minutes to reach Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, British Museum, Buckingham Palace etc. Finsbury Park is also a bus and train station. There are direct train services to Cambridge, Windsor and Oxford.
