We had a wonderful family holiday in Villa Los Tejaillos, it provided the perfect base to explore the area and was a comfortable home for the week. We loved the pool and the beautiful garden, with various shady spots to sit and enjoy a meal at all times of day. The scenery was spectacular and there were plenty of places to visit within an hours drive, from huge gorges, to the city of Granada and the Friday market at Alhama de Granada. The village itself was very small and friendly with a couple of cafe bars, and a well stocked supermarket 15 mins drive away and we loved buying delicious bread, fruit and veg from the local delivery vans that called by each day. The lake was wonderful, the most glorious blue-green water with great shoals of fish. We all agreed this was definitely one of the most relaxing family holidays weve had.

Weve just come back from a fortnight at Villa Los Tejaillos and we really didnt want to come home! The villa is lovely and cosy with everything you could possibly need, and more. The pictures dont really do it justice, the bedrooms are very pretty and spacious with plenty of storage, and the living/dining room is nice and roomy too. The pool and garden are lovely for lazing around, and very private. Its hard to drag yourself away. If you do, there is loads to do within about an hours drive, we had trips to Granada, the Costa Tropical, the Alpujarras and the Sierra Nevada. There are some lovely walks locally too if you fancy a rest from driving. The village itself is very peaceful with a couple of bars and a small shop. It was the perfect holiday for us and we will definetely be back. Thanks!

We have just returned from a fantastic week staying in Villa Los Tajaillos and now cant wait to return! The villa was great - really homely and very well equipped - the garden was beautiful with views of the hills in the distance and a lovely swimming pool which was very much needed in the 37 degree heat! The lake was stunning and we enjoyed walks in the local area and around the village. We can thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of Spain.

The best equipped villa any of us have ever stayed at. In a beautiful peaceful location in rural Spain, perfect for a relaxing holiday away from the tourist hordes on the coast. Also excellent value for money.

It, was truely unspoilt spain, such a beautiful area.every thing to hand, ahome from home, well equipped villa,in a pretty secluded garden,(the pool was very welcome). At the end of the road was a large lake, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. We went on so many lovely walks. We did the lot, explored, swum, relaxed, eat good local food, visited historic sites, typical villages. We needed more time to see it all, a good excuse to go back again.

The Bedfords had a fantstic holiday. Our 6 year old started each day with the words "another perfect day in paradise!!" The villa was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We all loved the swimming pool and would spend our days in the secluded garden, which is well tended and attractive. The surrounding landscape is stunning with a beautiful lake at the bottom of the road. The water is the most amazing colour and inspired me to go down to the beach with my watercolurs and paint the view. We particularly enjoyed exploring the town of Alhama de Granada with its historical background. The market on a Friday was a big hit with our teenage daughter. The gardens at the Alhambra in nearby Granada were so tranquil even at the hight of the summer. We all agree that we would like to go back again.

Perfect for our two young children. A well equipped kitchen and big family room. We all loved the pool and beautiful garden and terraces. We enjoyed lots of picnics around the lake in the shade of the pine trees, and evening drinks in the local friendly bar which we combined with our evening walks around the village and over the dam. Amazing views and scenery, like no other we have seen in Spain. We loved going to the nearest historical town of Alhama de Granada for the relaxing cafes and shopping. Not far from Granada where we spent a lovely day around the Alhambra and then walked down to the square for lunch and a look around the local ceramic shops. A lovely, relaxing holiday for all of us.

Delightful villa, quaint and homely with everything you could possibly need. Peaceful well maintained garden and pool. Enjoyed walking to the lake (handy shop there) and to the gorge. Convenient for visiting the famous Al hambra Palace.
