Our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter stayed in the chalet because although we live 2 minutes away on foot, we dont have the space to accommodate them.
We have never been inside one of these chalets before, even though they are so close by. We spent two evenings babysitting and made other visits during the week. I was surprised at how smart and well equiped the chalet is (the only thing that I had to supple my family with, that I hadnt expected, was a tin-opener). I agree with other reviews about the lack of an oven, which could be a problem for families wanting to eat in. I suggest that due to lack of space, the microwave could be replaced with a microwave/convection oven. I have one of these myself and find it very handy for heating pies etc. I also used it for roasting meat during my kitchen alteratons.
I am sure my family will use the chalet again for holidays in Norfolk in the future and would recommend it to anyone else in our position.

Thank you for your comments we certainly try to take constructive comments on board. Just to reply to you we did not have any photos of the bathroom before it had been done up this year as to be honest it was quite dated. The lounge has only changed from the photograph in that the rug is no longer there as we had to throw it away owing to a flood in the property earlier this year and the sofas have been moved around.
The shower cubicle we actually made bigger this year and rather than being a standard square size it is the largest that we could fit into such a defined space. The chalet room sizes are defined by the chalet park, are quite standard and to be honest there is no other way that we could configure the bathroom.
In regards to the slippery tile floor we do advise customers to take thier own bath mat and as with other things that require laundering this is not sometihng that we could leave for customers to use. However I certainly take your point about the mop and will ensure that one of these is also provided going forward.
As the bathroom was only fully refurbished at the end of May 2012 there has not been a toilet roll holder put in yet however the toilet roll could quite easily be placed on the shelf rather than the heated towel rail.
In regards to the mattresses - the double bed was brand new 3 years ago and the single beds 5 years ago. So not they are not brand new but I certainly do not deem them as 'old'especially when they are only used for approx 2.5 months per year. I will review the covers again. We have cleaners that go into the chalet weekly during the letting season I will ask them to review these for me and we will replace where necessary.
We will replace the tin opener.
Again the problem with the kitchen layout is limited space however I will review it to see if there is anything we can do in light of your comments around the microwave.
I will also review the directions to ensure absolute clarity.
I am sorry that you feel the chalet was not good value for money and have only marked it with a 1 star. We have worked vary hard over the last few years to bring the chalet upto a modern, warm and confortable level and feel our prices offer excellent value for money.

This Chalet was excellent, it was well furnished. The kitchen had every thing you could need, there was no oven but that did not matter, as a George forman grill was supplied and we used it for most meals. It was warm and very cosy. The bathroom was new and well funished. There was plenty of toys and game for children and even a travel cot should you need one. We wanted to return in August but it is fully booked ! The site is lovely and clean and the ground are very well kept we went to the club house for a meal which was very good.

We love going to the chalet every year. We have made good friends up there and the kids are always happy too - see you next year
The chalet park was a great little surprise for us, it was quiet and peaceful but very family friendly. Great location too for many local sites

Really nice chalet for the money. The property had lots of extras we didnt expect. Ipod doc, childrens board games, jigsaws, ball games, cards etc) lots of item you would want to take,
The grounds are well maintained and open. The neighbours where friendly and respectful that later in the evening we didnt hear any noise.
The owner made extra effort to get keys to use as we where a very late booking and we appricaite the efforts she went to, not many people would do that.
Two thrity somethings and a 20month year old.
Thanks!
