The Villa

his very private holiday villa at the foot of Montana Roja, has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, its own heated swimming pool, large sun terrace with shaded dining area and cushioned sun loungers, mature gardens and views across the sea to Fuerteventura. The villa is unique in that it has superb privacy provided whitewashed walls topped by attractive wooden lattice-work around the entire perimeter, making it not only private but secure especially for children. It also has a ramped path to the terrace making it suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. Located on the La Goleta Faro Park, it is five minutes drive from Playa Blanca and only 15 mins walk from the nearest small beach. Set in a peaceful residential area, this fantastically well equipped villa is ideal for families and couples alike for a relaxing holiday in the sun.


Outside
Outside you will find the al fresco dining area situated conveniently next to the kitchen, featuring an Indian rosewood table, benches with comfortable cushions and a barbeque for your use. We also have a shaded patio area by the pool - both areas are great for eating outside for lunch or dinner in the warm evenings! The terrace has sun loungers with comfortable cushions and the surrounding garden is planted with native palms, yuccas, bouganvillea and other interesting plants.
There are several fabulous beaches in the Playa Blanca area. Close by is Playa Flamingo which also has a fine white sandy beach of approx 200m with calm waters, and offers a good range of services. Payagayo is a series of wild beaches with fine white sand at the edge of a volcanic landscape, away from Playa Blanca town where the quiet adds to the atmosphere. These beaches are considered the best in Lanzarote and there is a €3 entry fee.

Travel
Arrecife is the international airport. Flights from the UK usually depart from most UK airports on Mondays and Thursdays, although it is possible to get flights on other days depending on where you fly from. The drive from Arrecife airport is approximately a 30 mins to the villa.
Lanzarote is a small island so nothing is very far away. Playa Blanca town is approx 5mins by car/taxi, or a 40 min leisurely walk along the coastal path, passing several luxury hotels, bars and restaurants overlooking the sea and Fuertaventura.
The ferry to Fuertaventura is 5mins drive / 30 mins walk away and the pleasent ferry trip takes approx 25 mins.
Located within 3km of villa, Playa Blanca was originally a small fishing village but is fast becoming one of the islands finest tourist areas. Almost always basking in warm sunshine and with the sea a constant calm, clear blue, Playa Blanca is a holidaymakers paradise. There are superb views of the mountains and the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura across the water. If its lazy days in the sun you are looking for, this is the ideal place. Playa Blanca has excellent amenities such as the shops, banks, care hire, bars and restaurants.
