We were met in La Herradurra by Terry and guided/escorted very efficiently to the property.
The apartment is well situated and well appointed, but I wouldnt advise staying here if you dont have your own transportation. Many of the adjacent properties are Spanish owned and were not occupied during the period of our stay, therefore it was very quiet - lovely!! The pool was excellent, and again very quiet.
The view from the very large terrace/balcony is stunning, but we found it difficult to enjoy in the heat of the day as there is no shade. Many other apartments have an awning, but this one only had an old small umbrella with no stand. Even just a large umbrella with a stand would make the balcony much more useable during the day. Although the place was clean it was rather dusty - we had to wash the outdoor table, chairs and terraces before we could use them.
The kitchen hardly appears to have been used and is well appointed - but a dishwasher would have be nice!
The bedrooms were fine, but we found the double bed very hard and that coupled with the plastic under sheet made for a rather uncomfortable nights sleep! Also, a few additional pillows would have been nice - we only had one very thin one each.
And 2 final small points, there were no batteries in the remote for the DVD player and the Freeview (Sky) didnt work as the card appeared to be missing.
We usually stay in a 4 or 5* hotel rather than an appartment, but this holiday has converted us to the joys of having your own home for the holiday. We are very fussy but would be happy to recommend this property as long as the balcony/shade and bed/bedding points above had been addressed!
