Villa El Botin is undeniably : ‘A house with a view’! Every where you look around, even from the heated pool, the magnificent landscape takes your breath away. You can see both the mountains and the sea. You are surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature, amidst large olive and almond groves. The house is located on a quiet road but is just a 5 minute drive from the beautiful Andalusian village Comares, also known as ‘The pearl of the Axarquia’ and voted ‘Pueblo magico d’España’. There are beautiful terraces, some shaded to enjoy outdoor dining.

There is a very cosy and comfortable living room with pellet stove for the colder evenings and a large patio door that opens onto the terrace. The kitchen is completely equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, hob, oven, microwave, fridge and all the necessary kitchen utensils. There are also 2 modern and equipped bathrooms. There is tv, DVD, stereo, FREE WIFI and ample parking space.

The large, private swimming pool (12m x 4m) can be heated, except from mid-November until mid-March. There are terraces with views of the Mediterranean see and the mountains. A special BBQ area outside invites you to cook and dine al fresco. This part of southern Spain has got the best climate of all of Europe, Winters are very mild here, witness to this are the many tropical fruits that grow here : platanos, mango’s, cherymoyas, and avocados. Imagine, enjoying all this with friends or family in a super relaxing environment…sweet dreams are made of this.

Our guests can also bring 1 pet, but please note, only after consultation.

The pretty village of Comares has been voted ‘Pueblo Magico d’España’ and is often called ‘The pearl of the Axarquia’. It has cosy restaturants and bars, a supermarket, a bakery (bread baked in wood-oven!), banks, a pharmacy and ATM. Every morning there is a doctor present. Just outside the village you can enjoy the via ferratas of the biggest Tirolina in Spain. The magnificent surroundings invite you to hike, bike, mountainbike or just…relax and enjoy the views.

The award-winning beach of Torre del Mar is only 40 minutes (approx) by car from the house. You can find many marvellous ‘chiringuitos’ (beach restaurants) where you can enjoy fresh fish that comes directly from the nearby fishing harbour of Caleta de Velez. Velez Malaga which is next to Torre del Mar has a big commercial centre. The beautiful lake of Viñuela lies at a 40 minute drive from the house (approx). You can hike around the lake and enjoy a good meal in one of the restaurants. Nerja, with its famous caves and the well known Balcon d’ Europa is about an hours drive (approx ) from the house. Málaga, pearl of gastronomy and culture is also just an hour away. Visit one of the many museums, visit a real Flamenco show or shop till you drop in the famous Calle Larios. Málaga has something to offer for everyone.

Villa El Botin is also perfectly situated for visiting other parts of Andalusia. You can visit Ronda, Granada (Alhambra), Cordoba (Mezquita) or the world famous Caminito del Rey, during a day trip.

All our villa’s are situated in wonderful natural environment and quiet village areas. Therefore these houses are ideal for holidays for families and groups who are looking for these characteristics and appreciate them. So please note that the villas are not suitable and available for noisy party holidays.

THINGS TO NOTE :

-Although final cleaning is included in the price, we ask all clients to leave the house as they found it.
-In reduced prices for monthly rentals, electricity and gas is NOT included. Pellets are never included in the price.
-1 dog can be allowed ONLY after consultation.
-Pool heating has to be ordered 1 week before arrival and has an extra cost.
-the heated swimming pool is available from April 1 to November 15
-To fully enjoy the surroundings a car is essential.
-There is a refundable damage deposit of 500 euros to pay on arrival.

• The person making the reservation must be 25 years or over.
  -Monthly rentals (28 days or more) do NOT include electricity, gas bottles (if required) and pellets for the pellets stove. Electricity is charged at 0.35€/Kw.
• Air conditioning cost: 30 euros by week is in place for your arrival, after this you pay for what you use. The average cost is 1 euro for 1 hour depending on the temperature that you set. Please be aware that air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms only.
