The directions and instructions to get to the property were very clear and easy to follow. The position of the property on the cliff overlooking the sea was breathtaking. The sight and noise of the waves were amazing and the sun sets were georgeous. The property itself was a great base for touring the island and with the floor to ceiling glass walls upstairs and down made for some beautiful views. Our only two criticisms were the description of the kitchen and equipment was a bit misleading - it was fairly basic rather than a chefs dream with half the hob not working! And, wanting to charge a further €25 for wi-fi is a bit steep. However, neither detracted from the overall delight of staying there. Id go back, and Id recommend it.

From the initial contact with the owners via the website, through to meeting them in and getting the keys to the property, and right through the stay, we were very pleased with the levels of customer service. Jardim do Mar is a beautiful small village and the accommodation was lovely. Highly recommended as a romantic getaway or as a base for surfing or walking.

As we have expected the property has justified our expectations: the location, the view and the privacy are of the most value. The description of the property on the website is accurate and informative. The owners of the villa are really helpful and nice people: the contact before and during the stay is really nice and efficient. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend the place to everyone looking both for romantic stay in Madeira as well as for active exploring holidays.
