From the welcome by Richard to the departure and farewell from Rosemary we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
The gite was everything as described on the webpage and we were more than pleased by the comfort it afforded. The size of the bathroom and the facilities provided were luxurious. The welcoming bottle of wine was greatly appreciated as we enjoyed it with our first meal of the holiday. The grounds and the location made for a very peaceful and relaxed holiday. Our small patio area provided a good sun trap which we enjoyed after returning from our days excursion
We were given excellent information about the surrounding area and the local suppliers (butcher, bakery, supermarkets and the all important wine supplier.
An excellent location for a quiet relaxing holiday.

We spent almost 2 weeks in "le petit gite" (Dec 2012 / Jan 2013). Its description is absolutly accurate. One small issue - WiFi didnt work in the cottage.

Though we had some difficulty reaching the gite prior to the agreed 9 oclock deadline, we were instantly made welcome by Rosemary who could not have been more helpful during our stay. We were on our honeymoon with a few nights booked in August and we were utterly delighted with everything. There was a bottle of bubbly there to greet us, and Rosemary and Richard were both available for any needs that we had, but otherwise gave us all the space we needed to enjoy our break. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, with many picturesque towns and villages within 45 mins drive away. Equally, if you are looking for seclusion and privacy, the manoir is an excellent location, with nice walks around the area recorded in a diary that someone had kindly left in the gite. Le Petit Gite is perfect for a couple looking for a bit of space, though a family of 4 could manage comfortably. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of the place, and we are already looking for the next opportunity to return.

The Petit Gite was extremely well fitted out with very tasteful furniture and colour schemes. The bathroom is a good size with walk in shower and separate bath. Missing some utensils in the kitchen area but this is a small point considering how comfortable the Gite was. TV, as in a lot of places is confusing to operate with more than one remote required to figure out channels. However plenty to do outside in any case. Good Pool area. Very friendly owners Rosemary and Richard who are very helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay as relaxing as it can be. Thankyou for a wonderful holiday. Will certainly recommend to others and will most definitely return

We stayed in "le petit gite" for 3 days in July 2011. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in that area and get away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, where wed just been. The gite looked exactly as in the pictures - very modern, clean with a huge bathroom! The property itself also included an above ground pool (which we did not use) and a ping pong table (which we enjoyed!). Rosemary was an excellent host and one of the highlights of our visit. She made sure the gite was fully stocked for cooking/cleaning to minimize our costs (e.g. olive oil for cooking) and included several extras - giving us everything for a BBQ, leaving a beautiful bottle of French champagne in the fridge, providing a notebook full of local recommendations and business cards, giving us herbs from the garden, etc! She even let us check out several hours later than we originally expected. The only minor issue is that Wifi didnt work in "le petit gite" (even though the property does have it) but otherwise, everything met our expectations!

Excellent Value for money.
Met expectations very nicely, the description was very accurate.
I would certainly recommend the petit gite to a friend, and our hosts could not have been more welcoming.

This is a small gite beautifully decked out in antique furniture with a very spacious bathroom with excellent disabled facilities which made it very convenient to use.
The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom spacious but I would have preferred more storage here.
The living room/ kitchen had a hob, a small oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment and was extended into a small private terrace with stunning afternoon and evening sun, so we rarely ate indoors. The kitchen contained a welcome supply of tea, coffee and wine, was well kitted out, and the proprietor was happy to provide any extra utensils that I needed. The television received English and some continental channels.
As there were no laundry facilities the proprietor very kindly did our washing for us.
We had a lovely holiday and would recommend this property.

This is a lovely property for people looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in a beautiful rural area of France. Local villages are quiet but provide a real french experience. The petit gite was comfortable and well furnished with some nice antique pieces. Plenty of chateaux to visit nearby and some good quality restaurants too.

The property was excellent in all respects. It was beautifully and comfortably furnished and very clean.
The surrounding gardens have masses of space for children to play and for the adults to relax in and the owners simply could not do enough for you.
