Private villa in a stunning position

The villa is located in a stunning position, nestled into the quiet olive covered hillside above Kassiopi in the hamlet of Kelia. All of the furniture in this delightful villa has been designed and built by a local Corfiot craftsman. The master bedroom boasts its own private terrace complete with seating and a coffee table, en-suite and a super king size bed, boasts two sets of french windows opening out onto both the main and private terraces. Both upstairs bedrooms lead to the large terrace/balcony that runs along the front of the house with a luxury outdoor sitting room perfect for catching the afternoon sun in peace. The villa is cleaned weekly with sheets and towels changed. Extra cleaning can be arranged but must be requested at time of booking. All of the windows have built in mosquito nets and all rooms are fully equipped with remote control air-con units.

Outside
The villa has an enviable variety of outdoor space with different areas for different times of day with sun or in the shade. The views from the villa across the bay of Avalaki and to Albania beyond are truly stunning, set in a quiet and private location away from other properties yet only a short walk to shops and restaurants. The stunning pool has been decorated with hand painted Sicilian tiles around the waters edge with a large surrounding terrace, gated from the house. From the living area and downstairs bedroom is a large shaded terrace that runs along the front of the villa with an attractive bow front. A round glazed stone table and chairs is conveniently situated next to the kitchen for dining, family games or just to take in the views. The terrace leads to spacious pool area nestled into the olive grove. Upstairs the large terrace with bow front leads from both bedrooms with a luxury outdoor sitting room - perfect for taking in the breath-taking views of Albania. The walled barbecue area is covered with an impressive pergola so it is perfect for breakfast in the shade but is also the most fantastic place to sit and eat at night after the heat of the day. The large teak table provides ample space for everyone. This area has the feel of being your own private taverna.

Local Area
Kelia is a small, tranquil hamlet of houses, spread out through the olive groves approximately 1km from the main road. Kassiopi is a charming little fishing village, within walking distance from the villa, with a traditional port down at the harbour you can still find local fishermen supplying the local restaurants with fresh daily fish with tavernas, shops, beaches and bars offering something for everyone.Walking in Corfu is both relaxing and a lovely way to unwind by taking in the beautiful surroundings of the countryside with its lush green scenery and numerous wild flowers before the heat of summer. The flora and fauna explosion of spring have to be seen to be fully appreciated and as a backdrop to a relaxed walk nothing could be better to unwind and enjoy this time of year on the island. The famous village of Kalami with its lovely secluded coves of that area is just a 10-15 mins drive away. Highly recommended are the eucalyptus lined coves of Chouchoulio, Gialiskari, Agni with the best tavernas on Corfu and Kalamaki beach for sand and shallow water which is perfect for small children.
