The Penthouse

This large spacious luxurious detached penthouse is wonderfully positioned on the Paradise Beach Resort, and is situated right on the beautiful Ponta Preta Beach, which is a haven for sun lovers with it's crystal clear waters and tropical beaches. It is the only one on the resort, that has a combination of, a private balcony (most have a shared balcony, therefore with very little privacy), situated on the top 2 floors (more privacy), has 2 bathrooms, faces south, therefore enjoying the sun all day long, and is located in a nice quiet position on the resort with fantastic sea views, and only a few steps away from the beach. The private use of several large swimming pools are only a few metres away. Wonderful sea views can be enjoyed from all of the huge balconies, which are also accommodated with comfortable sun loungers, sofas, tables and chairs.

The Area
The Penthouse is situated only minutes from the magnificent Ponta Preta Beach, where you can just sit and watch the local wind and kite surfers showing off their undoubted skills.
The charming local village of Santa Maria, with its numerous shops, bars, restaurants, banks and supermarkets is only a pleasant 45 minute walk away, or 3 minutes in a taxi costing just 3 Euros. There you will be able to watch the local fishermen bring in their daily catch on the pier, stroll around the many craft shops, where you can buy anything from African hand made jewellery to beautiful hand paintings or just enjoy a cold beer on the wonderful Santa Maria beach.

What to Do
Cape Verde is know for its wonderful unspoilt beaches, translucent seas and its lovely people with smiles as warm as the Cape Verdian sun.
However, there are lots of activities to do on the island.
A visit to the salt lakes, which are situated at Pedra De Lume are really worth a visit or take a look at the main capitol of Espargos.

If you like a bit of adventure, then hire a quad bike and visit one of the many sand dunes or beaches that the island has to offer. Other activities include wind surfing (the world championships are held on Sal), kite surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing, sailing, catamaran trips, or whale/dolphin watching.
Car hire is available but taxis are plentiful and cheap.
Various organised trips are available for all the above activities.

The penthouse is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
