Had a very enjoyable two weeks in Villa Adorran. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings. The villa is spacious, comfortable and well equipped in a quiet area. Many hours were spent lounging by the pool. The In-Resort team were very helpful as were the owners. Would definitely recommend for a quiet relaxing holiday with the option of the livelier resort of Fethiye 30 mins away. Uzumlu village is a 2 minute drive offering a selec tion of good value restaurants/cafes and pizzeria in a quaint old Turkish village. Will definitely return to Villa Adorran.

The villa was excellent and beautifully finished. The information we received before arrival and from the in-resort team was also excellent. This was our first time in Turkey and it exceeded all our expectations. We loved the rural setting and the incredible views of the mountains from the terrace. The pool and pool terrace were lovely - and a great place to relax and cool off. There is plenty to do and see around the area. We have been on many villa holidays and this has been the best

We first visited the villa in the summer of 2008 and had a fantastic holiday. The villa and area were both perfect for a relaxing family holiday. We could not wait to return this year, but often return visits are not as good as the original. This was definately not the case for us this year. The villa remains a complete home from home and you are pampered by the in-resort team who react to any requests with great speed and efficiency. The area is still very much rural Turkey but with enough of a lean to tourism to avoid any fears of isolation. If you want to be close to the coastal resorts but stay in a peaceful and quite location this is the ideal choice and I strongly recommend you give it a try ... you wont be disappointed.

Villa Adorran was a great villa myself and my family went for two weeks. The villas location is beautiful its not overlooked and it has a great view of the mountains . Fethiye is not that far away and has everything you would need. Renting a car is a must if you want to go out and about . The pool was great and we spent many a day at the villa beacause its just an ideal place to chill out . We were looked after by Nick and his wife Aysun and their beautiful little son Khann. They were so helpful and you could contact them anytime you needed them. I would recomend this villa if you want peace and just to chill out with a town thats so close if you want more excitement. Thank you for letting us stay at your villa we had a great holiday. Linda Shushan July 2011

My husband and I stayed in the villa for a week in May 2009 and had a wonderful time. The propery was immaculate and tastefully decorated with everything you would need including plenty towels and comfy beds. The views were stunning and unspoilt and we particulary enjoyed having a choice of terraces to have a drink and watch the sunset! We have already recommended this villa to our parents who went and had a great time too. We are looking forward to returning and will take our 3 children next time age 6,9 and 12. They will love the pool and there are lots of places to visit and see nearby.

The property itself is of a high standard and very tastefully decorated. The views are spectacular and locals very friendly. It is off the beaten track (literally) so you get a true sense of the Turkish way of life rather than a Brits Abroad tourist area.
Only bad points which I guess is due to the local supplies are the water was either freezing or boiling hot and I wouldnt like a child to be in the shower on their own, the electricity cuts were almost every day but nothing too drastic.
Overall though I would definitely recommend this villa, espcially for a group of friends or a family. It is a real chill-out place.
Owner reply:
29/07/09 - we are getting the water checked and will ensure that this is rectified as soon as possible.

We had a fantastic time at the villa, perfect location to just chill out in the peace and quite and not to far to head into to town or down to the beach (thank god for the air conditioning and the pool). The service we received from the time we landed and arrived at the villa was first class from everyone. We were met at the villa by Desree who gave us all the information we needed for a great holiday, the car was then delivered by Hamish who showed us the way to Fethiye and the best supermarkets.
Uzumlu village is lovelly with a couple of good restaurants and shops, the people in the village and Turkey are some of the friendliest we have met on a holiday before and they couldnt have been more helpful.
All to soon though its over but we will certainly return as you have it all here. To sum it up in one word wouldnt do it justice but excellent will do for now.

The property provides everything that you could wish for a family holiday. Superbly equiped, delightfully furnished and maintained. 3 good bedrooms, the air-con in these is fantastic. The kitchen provides every facility and the pool area is brilliant. The pool temperature was wonderful and the pool house fridge was ideal for those much needed drinks! The road to the property is a bumpy gravel track on a significant slope but is easy enough to navigate. Car hire is essential.
The property is located about a 5 minute drive from the centre of Uzumlu, which is a wonderful traditional small Turkish village with a selec tion of grocery stores and restaraunts. There is a contingent of English owners in the area so communicating in English is not a problem. The locals are also exceptionally friendly. Uzumlu is 500m above sea level and so it avoids the humidity of the beach resorts but maintains the glorious sunshine. A 20 minute drive takes you to the beach. The airport transfer included is fantastic and is provided by the in-resort team who are on call pretty much 24 hrs to deal with emergencies and any queries. The service they provided was superb. The owner also organised our car hire through Hamish McTurk! This was also superbly done with dro p off and collection from our accommodation. He even collected the car at 3am when we were leaving for the airport so that we could have the benefit of it on our last night!
The region around Uzumlu provides stunning scenery and visits to Saklikent Gorge and Oulez Deniz are essential. If you are intent on visiting Turkey and want a relaxing holiday but with things to do and see I would recommend this property to you.

We have just returned from two marvellous weeks at Villa Adorran. We were met at the airport and after a pleasant journey in a luxury minibus were welcomed at the villa by the very friendly and helpful Desree, from In-Resort, who was there to sort out any problems. Within minutes, our hire car was delivered. We cannot praise the villa highly enough. It was spacious, well-equipped, comfortable (with effective air conditioning) and situated in a beautiful location with views of the countryside and mountains. The pool was well-maintained and the water was crystal-clear. Nothing was more enjoyable than relaxing on the veranda as the sun went down. Uzumlu is a lovely little village and everybody was so friendly. We can also recommend the incredibly helpful Hamish McTurk, who provided the hire car and organised excellent excursions. The only downside was the steep and rocky access road - but we were warned about that in advance.

The picture of Villa Adorran does not do it justice. The views from the balcony were wonderful and the pool was an essential part of our holiday.
We were very impressed with the way everything was organised we were met at the airport transported to the villa, where we met Desra who showed us around the villa. The villa was spotless and tastefully decorated.
A book of information gave us a good idea of where to visit to ensuring we knew how to work the TV/Satellite. It is obvious that Ross and his family (owners) are very keen to ensure that anyone visiting the villa enjoys their holiday. We also hired a car from Hamish McTurk who was not only highly entertaining but extremely helpful and the car was delivered to the villa within five minutes of us arriving there and picked up again from the villa at the end of our holiday. We have never really thought of Turkey as a place we wanted to visit but can honestly say that it has been a very relaxing week and we have been welcomed by the friendly Turkish people and visited lovely places such as Kalkan where there are some lovely shops, artists and great restaurants. We went on a couple of boat trips and these were extremely well organised (again by the famous Hamish) and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and made sure that we found out about the history of the country. All in all we would highly recommend the villa as a great base to visit some beautiful places and relax in the evening with barbecue, wine and views. If we had one negative to say it is to say to Ross to get a deeper frying pan!!

Although we didn't stay in this property (we stayed in one just a few hundred yards away) we were allowed to have look by the people who were renting.
The villa was beautifull, far nicer than the one we stayed in which was clean but not cared for and very basic although the pictures didn't show this.
Hopefully we will be able to go again either this year or next and we will definately put this as our first choice. The people who were staying there couldn't fault the service they received or the villa itself.
After seeing it inside ourselves we were really envious and disappointed that we hadn't chosen this one instead

Very Nice Villa and good locations for exploring the surrounding coast and various historical ruins - make sure you get a decent map before you go!.
Great organisation from the local rep - we were met and taken to the villa quickly and without fuss.
Thanks

We were impressed with Villa Adorran, and how clean the Villa was, the only down side for us was the building work going on around the villa, but that said we enoyed our week.
Owner reply:
Building work is now completed on all surrounding plots and peace has returned to this beautiful spot!! Only work still to be completed is the access road being tarmaced.

My family and I have just returned from our stay in Villa Adorran, it was the best and most relaxing holiday we have ever had. The scenery was fantastic, the villa was excellent and Turkey itself is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. I will miss waking up every morning and looking at the view from the verandah. I would highly recommend a visit to this villa and the village of Uzumlu.

'Wow!' was our first reaction to Villa Adorran. A beautiful villa set in the most beautiful location. Waking up each morning to those views was a delight. The house has all mod cons and is gorgeous & the swimming pool made it difficult to decide whether or not to venture to nearby Fethiye and Oledinez.
Oledinez is by far the nicest beach resort I have been to in a long while & the Turkish people are some of the friendliest about.
I highly recommend this villa & will definitely be returning!

Fab villa, fab location, fab holiday.
We couldn't have been more pleased with villa Adorran. It was really just like a home from home. All mod cons and more.
Very peaceful location and what a view.........to die for! Visited some great places and the beaches are beautiful and very safe for kiddies. Try Olu Deniz and Patara. Not to be missed.

I visited this villa last year before it was registered on this site, now I've found it I'll probably be booking it again. Didn't know what to expect from Turkey, but what a beautiful, friendly country! The villa itself far exceeded expectations - the views and sense of calm were awesome, I'd never get sick of relaxing on that balcony. One suprise was the access road. It hadn't been finished off when we were there, but I forgot all about it in a matter of hours. I'd make sure that you hired a car. This was fairly cheap and helped us get out and see the great countryside. Basically, if you want to relax in lovely surroundings, have all your mod-cons and bask in the sun I couldn't think of a better place to do it. And everything is so cheap - it's almost cheaper to eat out! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!
