Property and local area description

Plenty of character and charm, stunning views and comfort in a luxury house

Fully detached and private this old farmhouse is an excellent holiday hideaway. However it is only a five minute drive to the centre of the village. Depending on the season, the garden provides you with different types of vegetables and herbs. The 48 foot long pool is a delight in summer and the surrounding deck offers complete privacy. A BBQ is available while the shady lounge area with large sofas is the ultimate place to relax and unwind. Internally there are five air-conditioned (pay-per-use) bedrooms three of which have en-suite bathrooms. The property has a total of six bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and two heating stoves are available in both the living room and dining room. We have tried to keep this property as traditional as possible without sacrificing standards.

Ramla Bay and Marsalforn Bay, both popular beach areas in Gozo are only about 5 minutes drive away. Within a short 15 minute walk from the farmhouse is a very good restaurant - "Pulito's" - which is a must-visit. Also in the village of Xaghra you will find one of the oldest free-standing structures in the world, the Ggantija Temples.

Gozo is only 9 miles by 5 miles so you are never more than a short drive away from anything. Beaches and secluded bays offer clean, clear waters, restaurants and bars offer great service and food, in fact, for food lovers, Gozo is a great place to spend your holidays.

Fully detached property. The external of the property includes remote controlled gate that leads to own private drive. The 48 foot long pool is surrounded by mature garden that includes a vegetable and herb patch, flower beds, olive and palm trees. A large BBQ is available and the shady courtyard is perfect for al-fresco dining. An outside lounge area under a gazebo with large sofas is adjacent to the pool. Open views can be enjoyed from most areas of the property.

The farm house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a south facing garden, a west facing patio area, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Just returned from a 12 night stay at this beautiful farmhouse. There were 13 of us in total but the property is so spacious one would never have thought so many people were living there! The farmhouse itself has been sympathetically restored by the owners and all the furnishings have been carefully chosen to reflect the age of the property. There was plenty of glasses, crockery and cookware and an excellent large fridge/freezer and very useful washing machine. The outside area was fantastic too again with lots of space. We all made very good use of the pool and the al fresco seating area. The whole property is very well maintained with the pool and garden being tended to regularly. All in all, we all had a fabulous holiday and cannot recommend this farmhouse highly enough!! Thanks Tonio & Clarissa :-)
