Overall rating for this property is good, although out of thé 3 aircons only 1 is working and it does get very hot as thé appartment is in thé ground floor and with all thé houses nearby sorrounding thé wind cannot get inside thé appartment. It is categorized as an appartment but it is Like having à small house, thé inside and outside is clean, Thanks to Alan thé very Nice owner of thé upstairs appartment for taking good care of thé property. We rarely see thé owners of thé upstairs appartment so it is Like having your own private property. Although thé Tv and airconditionning units needed to be changed as it was getting quite old and malfunctionning. Thé Tv has only 1 Channel but we brought dvds with us so we are Able to watch movies and Alan even proposed some DVD movies for my daughter. Thé swimming pool is quite small but very good for small Childrens as it is not deep but thé water néeds to be changed as it is getting green. Thé location is idéal to go to thé beach by foot and à very Nice restaurant called Los Gemelos is at thé end of thé street very practical to havé lunch or dinner. We just had à very unfortunate incident when my Husband and his cousin went to thé nearby beach bar called oli ba ba as my Husband was drugged, i advice you to be careful with what you drink and always watch your glass. Hopefully we did not end up in thé hospital.Some of thé people we talked to informéd us That it is Common to drug touristes for éventually robbing or raping. We Will surely avoir this beach bar thé next Time we go to Oliva. We stayed in this appartment for 14 days and I will surely Think about reserving this property If we are to go back on vacation in Spain!

Good points:
Very reasonably priced though the pool was small it is great for cooling down and quite private.
Bad points:
To describe the property as "Stunning 3 bedroom ground floor apartment" and also "Gorgeous ground floor apartment...decorated to a high standard " is at best misleading and at worst dishonest. The property is for sale and has not had tenants in for over a year. It smelled fusty, the remote controls for TV & aircon either had no batteries or they were dead (probably after standing unused for so long.
As for "decorated to a high standard": the single bedroom has some patching up on the wall, and the rear bedroom has been re-painted in parts with a different shade of paint (and amateurishly). The decor is generally dated and has many picture hooks on walls where pictures used to be.
Air conditioning: Of the three aircon units fitted in the house, only one worked. Temperatures in Spain reached 40 degrees whilst we were there. There werent even batteries in the remote for the aircon in the lounge (and without a working remote the system could not be adjusted). After repeated calls & texts to the owner, she sent a local handyman (Andrew) round to the house to try & fix the aircon. He gave up after a while and returned the next day with a portable aircon unit for the lounge (2 days into our 7 day stay by this time). The owner also asked Andrew to have a look at the TV. He tried his best, but had no success in getting a picture. By Tuesday (4 days into our stay) we still had no picture for ANY channel on the TV (again the advert is misleading because channels were not limited, the were unobtainable). Andrew said he would speak to a local who had more knowledge of TV reception and said he would return - he never did and we left a week later never having been able to view any TV. Normally we would have been happy to give TV a miss, but the Olympics were on, and we would not have chosen this property if the ad had been honest and disclosed that the TV was out of service.
I have uploaded 3 photos of the picture on 3 channels (others were the same or worse and none gave a picture you could watch) to corroborate the above text.
We opened the sun awning outside (clearly not used for some time) and a dead sparrow fell from it onto the floor.
To remain balanced, we would say that the property could be excellent and good value if a thorough check was done prior to arrival of customers to ensure all aircon units, TV, remote controls etc worked properly and the few fairly simple but important defects remedied. Without such corrective attention, the ad should be changed as it is not currently an accurate portrayal of the state of the property.
Alan who inhabits the first floor of the building and has been there 8 years was responsible for handing over keys / showing us round. He told us he was surprised that Carol (UK based owner) had let the property as he was of the view that it was not in a good condition to let out. And Alan would appear to be a part owner of the property according to the arrival instructions we were sent re key collection "The villa is split into two apartments one is shared with one other who are owners of the property, they will be there to hand over the keys".
