We had a wonderful time and it will remain in our memory. We'd like to share this experience with our friends.

The villa itself has been a beautiful, high quality home and still has many beautiful features like the staircase, the downstairs bathroom and the spacious kitchen. The air-conditioning is a boon on those hot, insufferable nights and there is as much solar-heated water as you could wish. Also, the gardens to the front are mature, verdant and a pleasure to walk in. The local social club is friendly to visitors and handy for a drink or take away food.
However, the gardens and pool to the rear are looking a little run down with too much broken garden furniture around. A big play was made of enjoying the garden and pool at night but the pool lights did not work and many outside lights were disconnected long ago. With some attention to details the property could be wonderful for renting.
For instance, update, the old tape deck music centre; update the upstairs shared bathroom; provide an ironing-board, electric kettle and toaster in the kitchen; ensure light bulbs are long-life; add a few more subtle garden lights and a string or two of LED "fairy lights" in the orange trees above the garden table. Finally, the inclusion of only 50 units of electricity in the cost of rental seems a bit mean.
Owner reply:
We have sunbeds and new garden furniture. There is a big light in the pool garden, sorry if you did not find the swich.
The kitchen is perfectly equipped with toaster and kettle, they are inside the cupboards. The iron and ironing board are in the bathroom wardrobe. You should have checked all the cupboards and wardrobes.
We have rebuilt both bathrooms upstairs and bought a new cd-radio thanks to your suggestions.
