Set in a beautiful rural village in the southern Auvergne area of France, life does not get any better and more serene than this. Wake up the the relaxing sounds of local farmers hearding their cattle - the bells arounds thier necks chiming in a beautiful chorus. This well appointed and newly refurbished apartment is located in the small farming hamlet of Ceyrac, which has approximately 80 residents. The area is perfect for those that enjoy, walking and cycling as there are many great routes from the front door. The department of Aveyron is know to be the most beautiful hidden treasure in the whole of France. Aveyron is proud to be the department with the highest number of "plus beaux villages de france".

The area is fantastic and would be highly suitable for bird watchers or walkers, as well as, active families or couples seeking a hide away.

As you drive from Rodez to Gabriac and then on towards Cruejouls, you will pass a small village on the left hand side called Ceyrac. Please take the second left turn signposted Ceyrac and drive about 500 meters in to the village. You will go past the Hotel et Cafe on the left hand side and the apartment is the first left immeadiately afterwards. If you reach a paddock on your left hand side you have just missed it. The appartment is the building with red shutters at the end of the drive.

Keys can be collected from the owners next door, who are always on-hand to help and ensure that you have an enjoyable stay.

My wife and I were delighted with this superb apartment and spent a wonderful fortnight here. The setting is just what we were looking for – deep in rural France, glorious countryside, quiet roads with little traffic and heaven-sent peace and tranquillity. The valley of the Lot (on the pilgrims route to Santiago de Compostela) is only 20 or so kms away – Estaing, Espalion, St Geniez etc, perfect little towns and villages, with interesting markets, shops, restaurants and other sights worth seeing. Bernard and Agnès are a charming couple who did everything to make a stay so memorable. Highly recommended!
