Property and local area description

Beautiful Slovakian chalet build on the edge of High Tatras National Park.

Our chalet is finished to high standard with luxurious fittings and furnishings and excellent facilities including internet, fireplace, underfloor heating, bathtub, sun loungers. On the ground floor is the entrance hall, kitchen with dining room, large living room with fireplace, bathroom, TV room/office and terrace. On the first floor is a hallway, two large double en suite bedrooms and another double bedroom.
Chalet is build from natural materials(wood, clay, stone), beautifly furnished and well equipped.

In winter seasons we have 8 ski resorts within 15-45 minutes drive.
Cross country skiing trails and dog sledging available next to the chalet.
You will find many walking and biking trails right on the doorsteps.
No hotels in the village, but you can find 5 good traditional restaurants within 15 minutes drive.

Final cost of rental depence on number of people(adults and children of any age) staying in the property.

Our tip for great hike is nearby Kvacianska and Prosiecka valley. There is a great number of beauty spots, high rock walls, waterfalls, interesting mountain flora as well as plentiful kinds of forest growth. It ranks among most beautiful valleys of Slovakia.
It is a valley in the shape of carst straits with rocks and steep rocky walls. River Kvačianka creates waterfalls and cascades here. There are technical landmarks represented by an old wooden water mill and saw-mill situated in one part of the valley called Oblazy. It is a natural reservation with unique species of plant and animal life.
There is also huge choice of outdoor activities(horse riding,climbing, rafting) available in nearby National Park High Tatras.
Enjoy stunning terrace and balcony views, quietness and peace of this place.
There are 4 water parks nearby, great fun for children and adults.
Also many caves, rivers, lakes, museums, historic towns.

The ski chalet is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking.

We spend one of the best winter holidays in our life in this chalet. It is very cosy, full-equipped, clean and peaceful. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Thanks, no THANKS to Miroslav and Marketa - they answer all questios, give all necessary recommendations and help to make our holidays unforgatable. Our children were happy to play outside and inside. It is very safety place also. It is really difficult to say everything we feel about the chalet. It is very-very nice place and can only reccomend to visit it and to see it by your own eyes.

What a gorgeous and relaxing place to stay! My husband and I have just spent in Chalet Borovo wonderful 5 days. When we came to Borovo I couldn’t believe my eyes. The view was amazing. It was just sunset and to see the beautiful red-yellow sky behind the silhouette of slopes, you can not really describe it…you must see it :) We got very nice, clean and spacious room with an amazing view. The whole chalet is brand new but keeping the old tradition which makes very pleasant and familiar impression. The owner and his wife were soooo friendly and kind that you really feel like you are with your family members. They were always on hand to answer our many questions and helped us to plan our stay. The chalet is situated in small village, very calm and relaxing area. I would never believe there is still a place which can be so quite during the night…a real balm for my poor sleep. On the other hand it is close to many spas, biking and walking trails and ski resorts which we will definitely try in winter season. I would definitely recommend this place for active holiday, for people loving the nature, mountains, sport, fresh air or just to relax… Lucy, London

Thank you for fantastic weekend! We had great skiing conditions in Jasna resort and we had wonderful time in nearby thermal springs. Chalet it well equipped, clean and beautiful. I spend there nice one week in the winter with my boyfriend. The position is excellent as it is surrounded by lots of great slopes where we enjoyed snowboarding that we love so much. The is also lots of those termal spas that is such a great relax after busy day or just a nice relax during the day. And the nature there is just awesome. You can see a lots of culture around as a typical old houses. I will recommend this place to everyone. You can come there anytime because there is lots to do in every part of the year.
