LOCATION
Our delightful home in the Pine Valley area of peaceful Rotonda West has everything you could wish for to enjoy a great holiday. Whether you plan for a relaxing beach vacation or active one with golf, fishing, biking or nature trail exploration. Have a daily swim (or two) in your own private pool and unwind with a long cool drink on a lounger in the sunny deck.

At the heart of Rotonda is a 30 acre Community Park with free tennis courts, playground and bicycle trails through the nature reserve. There is much wildlife including bobcats, tortoises, armadillos and hawks and of course alligators in the canals! Or visit the local Oyster Creek regional park which even boasts an olympic size swimming pool.
Golf enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with 5 golf courses on Rotonda and the villa backs onto greenbelt and the fairway of the newest of the courses. The Rotonda Golf and Country club is very welcoming and most helpful whether with guest bookings, club loan or just hints and tips on the various courses. For a little gentle relaxation you can fish the river and canals of Rotonda. Or, book a trip with a local guide and fish the backwaters of the bay for Redfish or take a sea trip for Tarpon, Marlin or Shark.
The beautiful bay and Gulf coast white sand beaches of Englewood and the barrier islands are a few minutes drive away where you can swim, fish or just relax and watch the dolphins.

For adventures further afield the Orlando Disney experience is a two and a half hour drive away or nearer to home is Busch Gardens at Tampa or Sunsplash Waterpark at Cape Coral. If you prefer something a little more relaxing there are numerous State Parks including Myaka which is one of the largest and oldest in Florida. Sarasota is a lovely city about an hours drive away. There among other attractions you can visit the famous Ringling museum, the Mote Aquarium and Sea Life centre, the beautiful Mary Selby botanic garden and stroll around the delightful marina and bay side park.

Then there is of course shopping! There are several local supermarkets and restaurants only a few minutes drive away with malls and major restaurant and retail chains at Port Charlotte only 15 to 20 minutes away. Plus there is a selection of big name Outlet malls offering great bargains only an hour or so away!

ACCOMMODATION
Bobcat villa is a tastefully decorated fully air conditioned 4 bedrooms (2 en-suite), 3 bathroom villa that can sleep 8 guests in luxurious comfort. The designer decor includes top quality furnishings throughout while antique pieces and curios complete the elegant but comfortable styling.

There is a large fully caged deck area which is very private and faces south west. The sparkling pool can have additional electric heating (charged separately) and the added security of a child safety barrier for extra peace of mind with young children. There are plenty of sun loungers and if the sun becomes too hot or at the end of the day you can retreat under the large shaded lanai and relax with a book or enjoy an evening meal in the covered dining area with dining table and chairs, lighting and cooling fans. There is a gas BBQ grill.

The spacious interior has an elegant great room with deep sofas to relax in and a formal dining table for that special meal. The large 'eat-in' well appointed kitchen has a table and chairs, granite counters and brand new stainless steel GE appliances for 2013. There is a cooker, microwave, dishwasher and a large fridge-freezer with ice maker and water cooler, coffee maker and electric kettle. Ample crockery, glasses and stainless steel cooking utensils are of course provided. You will even find egg cups and lobster crackers! The utility area has a washing machine, large sink, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. It is linked to the separate family room by a breakfast bar with high stools. The cozy family room with squishy sofas is perfect for watching the flat screen TV and DVD's, listening to music, there is a CD player,reading or playing cards. High speed internet is provided so just bring your laptop.

There are 2 master suites both en-suite. The huge main suite has a luxury king size bed (a super king in the U.K.), TV with DVD player and his and hers walk in closets, there is private access to the pool deck. The en-suite has a walk in shower large marble bath to soak in and twin vanity units.
The second suite has a queen size bed (a king in the U.K.) TV, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and also has private access to the pool deck.
The third and fourth bedrooms each have two single beds, walk-in closets and use of the family bathroom which also opens onto the pool area.
There is a double garage with powered remote door opening. For guests use there are 2 adult and 2 child bikes, tennis racquets, fishing rods, pool toys and those essentials for beach trips, towels, coolers, chairs and an umbrella.

This is a no smoking villa but pets may be allowed by agreement.
