We have now been to this fabulous apartment for the last 7 years and always arrive with a smile and leave with a tear! The apartment is like home from home for us. Its comfortable and clean and has everything you need for a family holiday. The pool is fabulous, the private garden is a real bonus and the local taverna (the Dona Maria) is just great....except for the waistline! My only complaint is when I leave each year its 50 weeks until I can come back!!!

Great apartment, everything you need. Very helpful owners, great area, everything easily accessible. Absolutely loved it here, cant wait to return. We stayed for four weeks, it wasnt long enough! Many thanks. :-)

Our stay was over and above expectations. I stayed at the Dona Maria apartment recently with my new husband. He was a bit reluctant to try the south coast of Spain but really loved it. We like to get around a bit and the hills behind the coast are spectacular. We took a trip to Rhonda which is really great and also Malaga itself which has got a really good castle. We were recommended the apartment by friends and it lived up to expectations. We had a bit of a problem with one of the shutters but it wasn’t really a big issue and was resolved. The thing we liked most was how homely it was. It pretty much had everything we needed. Also I don’t like too much heat but the rooms stayed cool all day. We would thoroughly recommend the Dona Maria Bar / Restaurant just up the road. Reasonable drinks and really great food. I especially like the house special chicken and the prawns pil pil. Lovely holiday – thanks.

I took my family to the Dona Maria flat last spring. Ive got some mobility problems so the garden without any steps to worry about was great. The best of it was I could relax in the garden with a beer without worrying what the kids were up to and were they safe etc. The weather was great apart from a thunderstorm one night and boy does it rain then! We hired a car (good value) to get about and the coast though it is built up is lovely. The flat itself is quiet and you don’t really get any noise from anything. Would recommend La Cala about 4 miles away – lovely beach. Fuengirola (6 miles) exceeded expectations and the zoo there is really top notch.I would definitely go again.

To be honest its got everything you need – its really well kitted with that ‘just like home’ feel and the shared pool to the back is great for cooling off. We tend to like lazy holidays so the combination of the enclosed and private front garden, combined with the pool and a great bar just a stroll up the road is ideal. The Dona Maria bar does great good value food including some really tasty tapas in the afternoons. We love it!
