WE HAVE ANOTHER APARTMENT LIKE THIS IF YOU HAVE 2 FAMILYS TOGETHER. The area around El Pinet is an idyllic setting and is in a prime location for both beach and wildlife lovers.The charming Spanish village of La Marina which is only a 15 minute walk away has a variety of supermarkets, bakeries, butcher,newsagents, chemist, optician, hardware shops and several restaurants and bar/cafes.
The unspoilt soft sandy beach stretches for miles and here you will find several beach bars and restaurants.
Usually there is some form of festival taking place each month in the village and there is an information desk beside the Post Office where all details of local events can be found. The nearest golf course at Quesada is a 15 minute drive away.
Street markets take place every day of the week somewhere in the area -Santa Pola, La Marina, Guardamar,La Mata, Torrevieja etc
.There are many fine white sandy beaches in the area bordering the Mediterranean Sea and there are quaint villages both near the sea and inland where true Spain lives. The abundance of orange and lemon groves contrast with the picturesque mountain scenery in the background. Figs, peaches, apricots and other exotic fruits can be seen growing in the area. Torrevieja is a 20minute drive South of the apartment and is certainly worth visiting for the beautiful promenade. Further afield Benidorm is about a one hour drive North and La Manga is a similar distance to the South. The port of Cartagena is just over an hours drive away to the South whereas the beautiful mountain resort of Guadalest is an hour and a half drive to the North. Just over an hour away is the nearest wine growing area of Jumilla where you can visit one of the several wineries and taste the various local wines. If you are visiting the area in September you can see the grape harvest taking place.

La Marina BEACH is a 12 to 15 minute walk ,The beach has soft white sand and is backed by a pine forest offering plenty of shade. It has several beach bars open during the summer and there is also a restaurant, where you can dine.
overlooking the Mediterranean and the isle of Tabarca, said to be frequented by pirates in ancient times! sunbeds are available for hire and CAR PARKING is FREE. Costa Blanca beaches have a good record, with over 30 of them having been awarded EU 2 BLUE FLAG standards for cleanliness, safety and amenities

FOR GOLF LOVERS, the closest 18 hole course is La Marquesa situated at Rojales about 5 miles away. There are numerous championship golf courses in the area, much too many to mention. The famous golf courses at La Manga are less than an hour away.

If you are hiring a car from the Airport we will arrange to meet you at an Agreed Meeting Place and we will take you to your Holiday Villa. the supermarket is 20 mins walk if you have no car, but when you arrive we can arrange for our car to get you the first shop for 10 euros it takes 1 hour, this way ,water , beer, wine, pop, is heavy to carry.
but it is best to hire a car.
If you are not hiring a car, we can collect you from the Airport and take you to your Holiday Home.
We will be able to tell you where the local attractions are and places of interests to make your holiday an enjoyable one. We will ensure that you are safely settled in to your Holiday home.
LA MARINA
La Marina is a coastal village on the Southern Costa Blanca. The area is known for its fine blue flag beaches with powder fine white sands and shallow crystal clear waters. There are several restaurants and bars on the beach, but they are otherwise undeveloped and unspoilt. The beaches are easily accessed from the village and are patrolled by lifeguards in the summer.
The towns of Elche, Santa Pola and Guardamar del Segura are all close by. Elche is famed for its palm groves, for the Misteri dElx and for being the site of the discovery of the ancient bust know as the Dama dElx. Elche has been declared a world heritage site. Gaurdamar and Santa Pola are thriving coastal towns with lively street markets (Wednesday in Gaurdamar and Saturday in Santa Pola), as well as many restaurants, shops, cafes and fine beaches.
Alicante and Torrevieja are only a short drive away. Alicante offers good restaruants and sight seeing. Torrevieja has got to offer sandy beaches,prom,markets,shops
