Notes About the Property: Some features of the cottage may vary from those shown. Throughout the village you'll find only low rise dwellings. Typically, they are 2 story stone and granite buildings in warm shades of yellow and ochre, reflecting traditional Sardinian style and charm. Each cottage apartment is on one floor with no internal stairs and with its own private terrace.

The gardens of Calarossa won the Homes Overseas Gold Award for Best Landscape Design and with it's small squares and stone archways it blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. You have complete freedom to self-cater or make use of the on-site facilities including Bar Pizzeria and Restaurant. There are 2 swimming pools, tennis courts, health spa, restaurants, supermarket and more.

Enjoy the traditional Sardinian village look and feel of the village with its stone arcades and lovely Meditarranean colors. The cottage is tastefully furnished and finished with paintings specially commissioned to reflect the colours and style of this very natural unspoilt landscape. The cottage has a very large outdoor terrace where you can dine while enjoying an incredible sunset.


Additional Tourism

Exclusive coastal village covering 100 hectares positioned in the north east of Sardinia between Castelsardo and Santa Teresa di Gallura in the Gulf of Asinara. Although there is plenty to do onsite, you may wish to visit Isola Rossa (red island), La Maddalena Archipelago, S. Teresa di Gallura, Alghero, Costa Smeralda, Castelsardo or Orgosolo.

Benefit from the healing waters of the natural spring spa nearby - they offer mud baths, popular spa treatments and more. Other activities include Horse riding, Diving, Surfing, Excursions by boat and Sailing. Gastronomic tourism can also be arranged for those who wish to sample the best of Sardinian and Italian cuisine.

Closest towns are Trinita’ d’Agultu, Santa Teresa, Castelsardo, Aglientu and Badesi. Monte Pulchiana offers interesting sights such as the largest granite monolith in Sardinia. Stazzi di Gallura, ancient Sardinian dwellings. Valle della Luna, natural granite structures including one in the form of an elephant!

Most low cost and normal airlines have numerous routes to Sardinia. Especially to Olbia and Alghero, both within easy reach of our property. The nearest airports are Olbia and Alghero - equidistant.

The cottage is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, sea views, panoramic views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
