Property and local area description
Lower Cornerstone, Brighton Pub Apartment
Overview
The ideal location for groups coming to Brighton to celebrate – only 10 minutes walk from Brighton Station – 12 minutes walk to Brighton Pavilion and 5 minutes walk to the Lanes and all the restaurants, bars and nightlife there. But the best thing of all is that this very quiet, airy and bright apartment is above one of Brighton’s most popular pubs – offering a whole range of dining and entertainment literally on your doorstep. The flat is ideal for groups mainly because of its proximity to The Lanes and nightlife, but it also works really well for extended families who want to explore the area. This area is also very convenient for free street parking for cars – with quiet residential streets to park in just minutes walk away.
Lounge/Dining Area
This large room is dominated by three large windows which offer lots of light and lovely views of the city. With three large sofas and additional stools this is a great space for catching up together as everyone starts to arrive, as well as a relaxing place to enjoy a quiet morning coffee as your group rallies itself from the night before.
The kitchen has everything you need to cater for larger numbers, as well as the crucial dishwasher. It also has an oven, hob, fridge-freezer and all the cooking utensils you would need.
The sofas are double sofa beds – offering comfortable sleeping accommodation for up to 5 more people.
Bathrooms
The flat has two brand new shower rooms – including two WCs so ideal for groups wanting to get ready all at the same time.
Main Bedroom
This room has beds for 3 people. Depending on your party the beds can be configured to a double and a single, or 3 singles as suits the group best.
Bedroom 2
This bedroom offers sleeping accommodation for 4 people with 2 single beds (which again can be configured to either twin beds or a double) and also full sized bunk beds for 2 more people.
External Facilities
Downstairs is a great pub very popular with Brighton locals which offers a range of well-priced drinks and special ales as well as offering a great range of food. There is a beer garden at the back for relaxing outside.
NOTE; The owners take their responsibility to the local community very seriously – and that means that noise is kept to a minimum after 10 pm – but this means that the flat itself is quiet in the evening so you don’t have to worry about being disturbed. Brighton has a myriad of late night licences so plan your night out in those venues with the knowledge that you’ll get home to a quiet night’s sleep and can look forward to a sleepy pub lunch the day after to recover!
