This is our 2nd year staying at one of Yvonnes property and can throughly recommend it. We had 5 adults and 1 3yr old, just perfect. It was brilliant having our own pool to cool off in and was used lots during the day. I would recommend that the bushes to the side of the pool need to be taken back more (if not altogether) as it is very tight walking around the pool. My daughter fell in once and it is really important that an adult is around the pool at all times, mainly due to the confined area around the pool. Other than this it is a fab addition to the house, and would stay again, We all loved it....thanks for a lovely week!!

The town house with plunge pool was perfect for our needs. There were 6 of us that included our girls aged 7 and 3. The plunge pool was perfect for them and they had so much fun we only managed to get them out with promises of a trip to the beach, the big pool (on the complex less than 1 minute from the front door) or out for food. Yvonne met us at the house and was very warm and welcoming and little touches like a loaf and milk & beer etc in the fridge were appreciated. We lost our buggy at the airport on the way out, but Yvonne went out of her way to get it back for us. She didnt need to do that, but thats the sort of genuine and friendly service you get with Yvonne. I wouldnt hesitate to go back to one of Yvonnes properties or recommend her properties to others.

We were very pleased with the Townhouse. Very well maintained and furnished to a reasonably high standard. Yvonne was helpful upon our arrival showing us around the Townhouse and spending time explaining the best way to get to the beach and the marina. Yvonne also provided a welcome pack which was an added extra The Old Village is a lovely place with some great restaurants such as Zanzibar and Princess Gardens where we had some fantastic meals. We spent a lot of time at the main pool, which is the best pool if you have young children. The pool area was kept clean and tidy with plenty of sunbeds. Overall we had a great holiday and hope to return in the future.

This townhouse is maintained and equipped to a high standard. The owner Yvonne was very helpful during the booking process. The Old Village complex is pretty and nicely landscaped. We enjoyed the communal pool which has a well serviced pool bar. The plunge pool at the property was a nice addition. Sunbeds cost EuR 1.50 per half day which we felt stopped guests from hogging spaces all day and not using them. There is a small but well stocked supermarket within 50 metres of the property. Yvonne provided a simple welcome pack which was great. We would definitely recommend this property.

Thank you once again for an excellent holiday I think the fifth year we have returned! The house was clean and well furnished and equipped, having been given a face lift since last year. The welcome pack was well received as always and Yvonne was kind enough to check in that we were all ok (sorry we missed you when you were in the village). We take major advantage of the plunge pool as our girls and their grandparents are happy to play and cool off in there although we did visit the other pools too. Princess Gardens pool has become a bit of a family haunt with young children and inflatables which is a bit of a shame as previously it was a quiet, sunbathing area and the other pools cater more for children. The restaurant was top notch though and its always nice to receive a warm welcome and sample the excellent menu. Would highly recommend.

This property was as described and Yvonne was very helpful although unfortunately she could not meet us during our stay. The pool is great and we used it every day. The only thing we think would make this property perfect would be air-con at least in the bedrooms as it was difficult to sleep and you could not open the windows due to outside noise and fear of intruders as our neighbours warned does happen occasionally, but having said that we had no problems. The property was very clean and had everything we required for a lovely stay, hope to return another time but perhaps to one of Yvones other properties.

We have just returned from a 12 day holiday and are looking forward to returning again one day. The Old Village was perfect for our needs and has a lovely feel about it the minute you arrive. The property was perfect for us as a family of four and had all the accessories we would need. e.g. travel cot and high chairs etc. The requirements of a 4 year old are simple and were easily met with the choice of swimming pools, the beach nearby and a playground area all at hand. We were well looked after by yvonne who met us on arrival and it was made clear that we could contact her at any time with any queries. Having arranged a transfer from the airport the journey was seamless both to and from the Old Village and we left having had an extremely enjoyable and relaxing holiday and one which we would thoroughly recommend.

We had a great time during our stay in the Old Village in Villamoura. The property was very spacious and clean and had a pool at the back, which came in very handy to cool down after a lazy day in the sun! The location is good also as its a 15-minute walk to the Marina and the beach. I would definitely recommend to a friend and if I return to the Algarve again I will definitely look this property up. Thanks to Yvonne for the friendly welcome and for arranging our visit, my family and I really enjoyed it.

This 3 bed house is definitely to be recommended. As with Yvonnes other property, it was light, airy and nicely furnished. There was plenty of room for all of us and it was really good value for money. The plunge pool was a huge hit, the kids being in from 8.00am! Great, hopefully well be back next year for our fourth time.

We all very much enjoyed our stay in this villa. It was approx 15/20 minutes walk into the Marina, or a very cheap taxi ride (4euros). We were met by Yvonne who handed over the keys and showed me to the villa. It all ran very smoothly with no problems or difficulties. The Old Village was very pretty, resembling something of a model village. I would definitely recommend this villa for anyone wishing to stay in the old village.

I have stayed at other properties on the Old Village complex and this has been the best by far. It was spacious, comfortable and very clean and modern. The plunge pool is an added bonus and makes it an enviable property. Yvonne was very nice and helpful, the welcome pack was much appreciated (tea, coffee, bread beer etc). I would definitely like to stay again.

The townhouse is absolutely beautiful. It is very clean, well equipped and in a great location. The roof terrace is an excellent place to watch the beautiful sunsets and the plunge pool is a fantastic way to cool off after a day of sightseeing. Yvonne is an incredible woman who makes you feel very welcome and is willing to help you out in any way she can. Our care package was a welcome treat - it was nice to enjoy a cold beer upon our arrival. Being a minute walk to the supermarket was very convenient for picking up essentials as we needed them and being able to walk to restaurants in the village was an added bonus. During our two week stay in Portugal we stayed at four different locations and this by far exceeded them all. We would recommend this townhouse to family and friends and hope to stay again ourselves.

Was met by Yvonne at property and was shown where everything was. Property was very clean and catered for all our needs. Location was excellant with the supermarket 50 yards away. Although it backed onto main road around Old village there is barely any transport on the road. I would highly recommend this property for families and groups of adults here for the golf and apres golf!!!!

What a beautiful house in a beautiful area. We booked blind of the web and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Very clean and every facility was available. A nice 10 minute walk to the marina from the villa. We had a BBQ on the roof top terrace and it was superb. Convenience store 1 minute's walk away had everything we needed... I'll be back. Thank you Yvonne, arriving to a cold beer in the fridge was just the best.

The owner Yvonne made us very welcome, although we did not actually get to meet her due to delays. The Townhouse was in a perfect location just 15 mins walk from Vilamoura. The Old Village is a lovely complex, although we only tried one of the many restaurants. Whilst the men played golf the ladies enjoyed the sun terrace and the plunge pool that this town house has. The house was well equiped and Yvonne had left us a welcome pack of bread, milk, butter, jam and beer. We would recommend this to all our friends and family and hope to stay there again.

This town house is in an excellent location, is well-equipped and in good condition. The roof terrace and the plunge pool are great for relaxing although you should be very careful with young children around the plunge pool as there is not a lot of room to walk around it. The townhouse does have a couple of weaknesses; the internal and external walls are very thin which means it can be quite noisy, and the air conditioning is provided by portable units which were not particularly effective. In summary, the thin walls, the poor air conditioning and the plunge pool would lead me to say that this house is not suitable for families with young children (particularly young children who are light sleepers!), however, for adults and older children the town house is a good base from which to enjoy a holiday in Vilamoura.

This has been a fantastic holiday. Firstly the website is very easy to use and once we had booked, we had regular contact from the owner to make sure everything was arranged. She even arranged taxis for us and for someone to meet us at the property and show us around. It was very nice to find some basic food and drinks (including beer) already in the kitchen, although the shop on site is open until 9pm and stocks pretty much everything you could want. The house itself is fantastic, the bedrooms are all of a good size and even though they are twin, the beds can be moved together to cater for couples! The bathrooms were of a good standard and the water pressure was pretty good, surprisingly! The roof terrace has a table and chairs and some sunloungers and the garden just about had room for a couple of chairs beside the pool. On this note be warned, the pools are not heated!! By just after lunch they were ok, but the public pools never really got up to a comfortable temperature whilst we were there! The house has everything you could need, including nice bedlinen and towels, and a good selection of crockery and kitchen utensils, so you really can have a self catering holiday with proper meals if you fancy cooking or having a BBQ. That said the food on site is alright toom although we preferred the variety and quality of the food down at the marina, about 15 minutes walk away or a 3 euro taxi ride! All in all we were very pleased.

The Town House is beautiful, it exceeded our expectations. Everything you could want was provided. Yvonne left essentials such as tea, coffee, bread, jams, milk, sugar etc in the kitchen and beers which were very well recieved on our arrival! The Jacuzzi was great fun we used it every day. The roof terrace was also used daily as there are sunloungers and it was very hot. The location of the propety was fantastic it is very close to the Supermarket which provides everything you may need, it is also close to the pubs and restaurants on the Village. i would highly reccomend the property and will certainly be returning. All 6 guests feel the same. The Old Village is only a 10 minutes pleasant walk to the Marina, if you didn't want to walk then there is a mini road train which comes on the hour and costs 3 Euros and you can hop on and off for the day. I would highly recommend the Town House and the Old Village to anyone wanting to visit Vilamoura, it is perfect.

We loved the townhouse, it was spotlessly clean and the location is beautiful - it's handy having the little supermarket a stone's throw away and although the main road can be a little noisy, it is overall such a peaceful place to be. As it was April the plunge pool was still a bit chilly but we still ventured in and had great fun. The 3 pools in the Old Village are beautifully maintained and staffed by very helpful people. Yvonne was fantastic and extremely helpful in providing a highchair and travel cot for our baby, along with leaving us the provisions mentioned in other reviews, milk, bread, tea, beer, biscuits, etc. She also arranged our airport transfers which went without a hitch. We felt so welcomed and looked after! Our best meal out was at the Princess Garden Restaurant which is literally on the same little street, 30 seconds away, the Steak on a Stone is a must! The townhouse provided every comfort we could possible have needed on holiday & we would certainly go back!

We had an exellent holiday, Ivonne was very helpfull ,whenever we needed advice she was there to help us out , the hous is very ,very nice I have never realized it was going to be like this , the welcome is also very good , immediately we were be able to have a beer or a cup of tea or coffee . the thing I liked the most was the roof terrass and the jaccuzy which is very relaxing after a day of walking .the enviroment is beautifull and the sea is only is only 10 min, away, on de corner of that little street is a very nice restaurant, there are more of course . In Belgium we live nearby a very busy road and we were looking forworth to have some silencent nights , that little street is so peacefull ,we sleped as never before . It is also very clean inside aswell in the streets and the people are very friendly , we have a rule me and my husband " never go to the same place twice because the world is so big , but we are going to breake that role and if possible go back to Ivonne's hous . Yvonne met us as we came out of the taxi, she was very pleasant and helpfull, we fell in love with the townhouse as soon as we stepped in, beautiful, sparkling clean , even a welcome pak, milk, bread, tea, coffee, cookies and ice cold beer in the fridge.the furniture was in excellent condition, well laid out , a plunge pool off the living room big enough for the six of us, which we used everynight. B.B.Q on the roof terrace with lounge chairs, which overlooks the OldVillage . Perfect location. At the end of our first week the maid came to change the bedding , fresh towels and do a clean up. Good restaurants and bars at each end of the street, reasonably priced and friendly. Very good transportation, for 4 euros you can take the little white train that stops at the back of the townhouse from 10 o,clock in the morning till 10 o'clockat night , it does the tour of villamoura and your ticket is good all day. 10 minutes to the beach 15 minute to downtown or it can be very easily walked. Our highlite was going to Maria' restaurant in Dunas Douradas on the beautiful beaches, Piri piri chichen is a must try. We can not thank Yvonne enough for everything she did for us ,much much more than we ever expected, we will definitely come back with more of our friends now that she has a 5 bedroom townhouse . Thank-you Yvonne for a most enjoyable, relaxing holiday.I rate this a 5 star rental

On arrival Yvonne met us and done a guided tour of all the facilities ,contact numbers etc and left an arrival pack milk ,bread beer ,coffee and tea. We would recommend this town house to anybody ,the on site restuarants where all just average. We found a good dinner (cafe) by macdonalds and marina entrance called the ro marina 4 meals two rounds of drinks ,coffee and irish coffee just over 50 euros .If you eat on the actual marina be prepared to pay double this Back to the town house if I had one complaint it was the tour buses and bin men who turn up at 7.00 am and when it was hot and the windows open it wakes you up a little early. Apart from that 5 star holiday

Property was in excellent condition and in a fantastic location. What pleased us all most were the little touches, beers in the fridge, milk tea and coffee so upon arrival we could instantly relax. In addition there were plenty of fans available for those who got too hot. The pool was looked after every day and you were spoilt for choice as to where to sunbathe either on the roof terrace, one of the main 3 pools or in the plunge pool. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to everyone and we will definitely be coming back.

The property was very clean and well located. It had most things that we needed for the week. There were a couple of minor things not working, eg. the toaster and the shower. However, on mentioning this to Yvonne, she quickly came back with two or more showere heads to replace it. This however, did not fix the problem. Overall, we were happy with the property and would return and also recommend to others.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous townhouse – it proved to be a restful oasis at the end of each day. The property itself is spacious, comfortable, very clean and tastefully decorated. The rooftop terrace became a quick favorite to enjoy the sunrise over morning coffee. Very happy with the convenience of shops and restaurants right outside our door (friendly and helpful staff too). We also found the beauty and tranquility of the old village a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of the marina. Definitely exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for our money. What sets this property apart from any other is the owner. Yvonne greeted us with bread, biscuits, milk, water & beer and made us feel welcome after a long journey from Canada. We can’t begin to say enough about her – Yvonne went above and beyond any host obligation when she assisted in the retrieval of missing luggage and made a trip herself to the airport (I am especially grateful for this kindness). Yvonne is very helpful and friendly – the warmth of this property is a reflection of the warmth of her spirit. We would highly, highly recommend a stay at this townhouse.

The townhouse had been recently re-furbished to a very high standard, and not overpriced. The property was very clean & the linen and towels were pristine white. Plenty of hanging space in the wardrobes, and enough drawer space. The plunge pool/jacuzzi was more like a small pool and because the weather was so nice (even in mid April) we were in it every day. The roof terrace was ideal for sunbathing sunbeds provided) and we made use of the barbecue and patio table & chairs on the roof terrace. We had a welcome pack waiting for us on our arrival (and the cold beer was very welcome). The supermarket was 1 minute away from the fron door, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were even enough restaurants around the townhouse without venturing to the marina to eat. However with such a variety in cuisine it was worth the 10 minute walk to the marina, which was one of the best we have seen on our trips abroard. We would definitely go back to the same resort & property, and recommend it to friends and anyone reading this review. The owner has been keeping in tough since we got back and it is nice to think that they appreciate us as much as we do them. Thanks for making our holiday so perfect Hazel and Phil Belcher and friends

Really enjoyed our time at the Townhouse. It's in a very good location and well served by amenities - a local store and restaurants/bars. We hired a car so added extra flexibility for visits to bigger shops etc. The house itself is clean and in a very good order and pretty much everything you need for a holiday is provided. The owner Yvonne was most helpful and friendly and made herself available to be contacted for any questions etc. She also provided a starter welcome pack of water, milk, beers etc. which i thought was a really nice touch and not often provided in our experience. The townhouse, we understand is the only property in the Old Village to have its own plunge pool which is lovely and whilst we were there early in the season and it wasn't always warm enough to use, would think it would be lovely in the height of summer. Only word of caution though, is that those with very young children, say under 3 would have to keep a watchful eye as the pool takes up the whole area of the outside, so non swimmers beware! The roof terrace is a nice feature too and again keep an eye on the kids! We took our 5 year old and it was never a problem with his safety as he was never left unattended. All in all a lovely house, and we have stayed in a fair number of villas now, so would recommend a visit!

We recently stayed in this apartment and were pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was with lots of new things. It was well equipped and had more than the usual basic 6 of everything for 6 people. The owner saw us in and called often to make sure we were alright. We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed the location which was very central. The old village itself is really pretty with lots of greenery. The pool was great for lounging about in and being smaller than the main pool was much warmer. It's the only apartment in the old village that has a private pool so we were really lucky, it was definately better than the usual small garden space. All in all I would say it was a great place to stay and a great holiday. The only downside was we only stayed 1 week, next time we'll book two!

From the moment we arrived, our party was overwhelmed with this 3 bed-townhouse. Yvonne met us on arrival (after pre-arranging our airport transfers). and showed us around the property, We could not have been more overjoyed as it far exceeded our expectations - believe me, when I say that the photo's on the web-site do not do the property the justice it deserves. A welcome pack was provided - Bread, Milk, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, bisciuts - and best of all - the fridge was full of ice-cold beer - That sells it for me, everytime! The plunge pool was larger than we expected and was clean and maintained regularly by a very pleasant guy. The outside roof terrace is of a reasonable size which has 5 sun loungers, a patio table and 6 chairs, and a BBQ set which came with charcoal, firelighters, matches and papers - to start you off - We had a breakfast Barbie which was great fun! We had a double bed which was very comfortable and for someone who rarely sleeps later than 7 a.m. - even I was well away until almost 9 a.m. The living room was spotlessly clean and spacious and entertainment is covered with a TV, Cd player & DVD player - so remember to take your favourites with you! The TV has all the British terrestrial channels plus Sky package of Movies & Sport. For those who like to relax differently there is a stocked library of books - mostly women's romance, and the magazine rack is well stocked with women's mags - OK, Hello, etc. The kitchen we found to be well stocked and appealing to the eye - very few apartments or studios give you confidence in wanting to use them, but all appliances were new and spotless. The Old Village Resort is an excellent base, with 7 restaurants/bars on site. 2 swimming pools - also clean and well maintained. This place is a definate to come back to, and although I do not speak or read Portuguese, I am bewildered by the review above which gives a 1 star rating - What do they want - Buckingham Palace!

although the owner had only got the property in june it was clean and had a new cooker fridge/freezer and lounge furniture the washing machine was in need of replacing ( which I believe has now been done) .Having the plunge pool was an welcome addition being big enough for the 6 of us to all enjoy at the same time.knowing that the owner was 8 kms away if there was a problem (which there wasn't ) was reassuring we will stay there again if possible

A localização da old village é excelente.
