Working for an IT company with an office in Colombo brought me to Sri Lanka in the first place - back in September 2000. I was instantly charmed by the people but also by their culture and the fantastically beautiful natural landscape. Since then, Ive split my time between living in Sri Lanka and Bath, UK.
As well as being my beautiful home and fun source of income, the tropical beach house is my method of re-directing some Western wealth towards my less-well off local friends and so in turn to their family and friends.
