Available all year round, our apartment is situated at Vera Playa, in the Spanish Andalucian Province of Almeria, which is in the south-east corner of Spain. This area enjoys the warmest and sunniest climate in the whole of Europe, with more than 320 days of sunshine a year. Mid-day temperatures in January average 69°F and in July and August 99°F. 

This modern first floor, two bedroom apartment, is located on a lovely complex, with a communal swimming pool and fully furnished to a high standard. There are many small typical Spanish villages & towns within easy reach.Just a few minutes walk away is the eight km long, blue flag, wide sandy beach, which is never overcrowded. There is a water sports centre with equipment hire and bars and restaurants scattered along the beach. A water park is just a 100m away, with nearby pony trekking & cycle hire. There is also an Internet cafe a short walk away, in the nearby new shopping centre, which has a variety of small shops, bars and a supermarket.
There are four Golf courses just short driving distances away. Mojacar hosts Club de Golf Cortijo Grande, with its elegant Andalucian style clubhouse and Club Marina Golf Mojacar which has greens right down to the seafront. Vera is home to the spectacular Desert Springs Golf Club, a true Arizona desert style course and the new Valle del Este.
 

Garrucha

A short drive from the complex brings you to the beautiful fishing town of Garrucha. Here you will find a vast array of restaurants, many specializing in fish although meat dishes (including fine steaks) and tradiotional Spanish meals available. There are Chinese and pizza restaurants and a wide choice of small Spanish cafe bars.
There is a fish market most evenings at the harbour from about 5pm. Here you can see the fish landed and being auctioned for the restaurants. In the town itself there are plenty of banks with cash machines. Many shops and large supermarket.



Mojacar Playa

Further on from Garrucha, you will find Mojacar Playa. This is a large area comprising of lots of bars and restaurants and stretches the whole length of the beach. Here you will find everything you could possible need from Chinese and Indian restaurants, to Italian and Mexican restaurants. There is a large enclosed shopping centre situated on the main roundabout at Mojacar with a large supermarket underneath, as well as a variety of shops and more cafes on the other two levels.

Above the beach you will find the beautiful area of Mojacar Pueblo. This is a very old and quaint town with cobbled streets and a weekly market. There are further restaurants, bars and shops hidden in these streets and the views are spectacular. This is an area to be highly recommended.

Villaricos

A drive in the opposite direction brings you to the small fishing village of Villaricos. There is a small sandy beach two harbours and diving is available. There are reasonably priced restaurants and bars here ranging from Spanish cuisine to British pub food. Like many of the other areas, there is a Sunday market here and a beautiful church.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the under settee. This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The apartment has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, a food shop.

Close to the apartment you will find flying, cycling, golf, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find walking, mountain biking, horse riding, scuba diving.
