The Retreat is one of the villages at Legacy Park and is situated on Highway 27, just one mile south of Highway 192. The villa is minutes away from the Interstate 4 making it easily accessible to all major theme parks and attractions. The community has a very friendly and neighbourly ambience and is ideally placed with a number of restaurants, takeaways, shops, medical centres and petrol stations all close by. There is a 24 hour Wal-Mart five minutes north and a Publix Supermarket just three minutes south of the villa.

If you are a golf enthusiast you will be spoilt for choice! You may decide to experience the Champions Gate complex, designed by Greg Norman, or try one of the many other championship-quality golf courses available.

Relax and cool down in the pool after a hard day at the parks or on the golf course. The Retreat is close enough to all the excitement and nightlife that Orlando has to offer, yet far enough away to relax in peace and quiet. It is a fantastic base for your dream vacation and provides the best of both worlds!
 

Our villa, which was completed in 2006, has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and two living areas. This luxuriously furnished villa will accommodate up to eight people plus a baby in the cot provided and has everything you need to enjoy your holiday.

The master bedroom has a super king size bed with an en-suite bathroom and separate shower, including shower seat if needed. It has cable TV and a walk-in closet with a key safe in the wall. The second bedroom has a king size bed with an en-suite bathroom. It has cable TV and a large closet. The third and fourth bedrooms have twin beds with large closets and share the main bathroom.

The kitchen is equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, waste disposal unit and all the crockery and cooking utensils needed to cook a full roast dinner (if that is what takes your fancy!) There is seating for six in the nook with patio doors leading off to the pool and decking area.

The family room has ample seating with cable TV and CD player. There is also a DVD player with numerous films to watch.

The spacious formal living and dining room is ideal for relaxing away from the television. The formal dining area seats six people.

There is a separate utility room, which is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer, ironing board and iron.

The games room has a pool table, foosball, electronic dartboard and a supply of games for all the family. It is also fitted with a ceiling fan.

The solar heated screened pool has a coloured fibre optic lighting system and child safety fence. The extended pool decking, has a table, cushioned patio chairs and sun loungers for eight people.

The villa is fully air conditioned throughout with ceiling fans in the main living area, all bedrooms and games room.

All linen and towels are provided and there is a cot, high chair and stroller available at no extra charge.

There are hairdryers in all of the bathrooms.

Wireless internet access is available in the villa including full instructions, so make sure you bring your laptop with you.

The telephone includes free USA calls.

Food packs are available upon request, which are very welcoming especially when you are arriving late in the evening (see optional extras below)

There is an electric mobility scooter available for hire for persons weighing up to 12 stones (see optional extras below)

Sorry but smoking is not permitted inside the villa or pool enclosure.

Legacy Park is situated in Davenport, Florida and is just 15 minutes from Walt Disney World main gate, depending on traffic. Attractions including Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Epcot, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Wet and Wild and Gatorland are also close by. If you are the outdoor adventurous type and would like a change from the theme parks then why not visit Lake Tohopekaliga in Kissimmee, which offers airboat rides, boating, hiking, fishing and other outdoor sports. Other activities nearby include golf, tennis, biking, horseback riding, miniature golf, swimming, cinemas, museums and many other attractions.

If you wish to drive a little further then head out for the day to the Kennedy Space Centre, Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens or one of the beautiful beaches on both the Gulf and East Coasts.

For those shopaholics amongst you visit Florida Mall, which is central Florida’s largest shopping destination or Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores with over 300 name brands at discounts of up to 75%. If you want designer wear then Orlando Premium Outlets is the place to go.
 

The screened solar heated pool overlooks wooded federal conservation land. With the coloured fibre optic lighting system it creates the ideal setting for winding down in the evening with a glass of wine after a busy day at the theme parks or on the golf course.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. Recreational activities available with the villa include a snooker/pool table.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Although there is NO WHEELCHAIR ACCESS through the front door or shower there is a shower stool available for use. You can also rent our mobility scooter at a charge far cheaper than the theme parks. 

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private selec t aspect swimming pool, a selec t aspect garden, a selec t aspect patio area, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the villa you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find flying, a sports center, scuba diving, a museum, a zoo.

The villa is within minutes of Highway 192 where there are activities to suit everyone.

Joanne says: "What can I say???? This place is FANTASTIC. The property is lovely, the photos do not do it justice, the place is huge and very well maintained. It has everything you could possibly require and alot of stuff you dont need but its great to have. The location is lovely and peaceful with great uninterupted veiws of the conservation land. The pool area is very private and the pool is great, alot bigger than I expected and lovely to relax in at the beginning or end of a busy day. The management company were very helpful, I couldnt connect to the wireless internet and they were round to help within 15mins. We had a fabulous holiday here, the only problem being it just wasnt long enough. I highly reccommend this property! "
