Casares Del Sol
Casares Del Sol is a brand new luxury development which will be set in extensive gardens, enjoying breathtaking sea, mountain and golf views. This development offers tasteful Mediterranean architecture and first grade construction. This first floor apartment has two bed rooms and two bathrooms.

The apartment is suitable for the elderly or less abled, as it can be accessed by a lift, which also goes to the underground garage and storage area. Not every apartment has one!!

The project is superbly located just 1km from the beach, and within walking distance of three golf courses. Also within easy reach are the attractions of the marina of Puerto de la Duquesa, with its many bars, restaurants and shops, while the picturesque mountain village of Casares, with its ´sugar cube´ white houses clinging to the rock faces, is a short drive away.

Other coastal resorts of Sotogrande, Puerto Banus and Marbella are all within a 20 minute drive.

Casares del Sol will feature superbly landscaped tropical gardens, several outdoor swimming pools, and in due course a sports centre with indoor pool, gymnasium, tennis and squash, together with shops, bars and restaurants……in fact, everything for the perfect holiday.

Nearby and most famous gold clubs are Valderrama, San Roque and Sotogrande clubs The complex will be surrounded by golf courses. Within walking distance of the complex will be Casares Golf (9 holes), El Cortesin, (18 holes), PGA status will be sought, and Jack Nicklaus (9 holes).

Location, Location, Location
Casares - The Casares region is made up of Casares Costa and Bahia de Casares which are both on the coast, and Casares Pueblo, with it's impressive Moorish castle & stunning views, which is located 15 km inland from Estepona.

Because of its situation, between Guadalhorce River and Mijas Mountains, Casares has become a prosperous agricultural area. The main crops are citrus fruits (oranges and lemons) and it is also prolific in olive trees, & almond trees.

The Costa del Sol is one of the most famous coastal areas in the world. Choices range from the jet set Puerto Banus to the traditional Mijas.

The Costa del Sol has Spains mildest winter climate which may explain why it is so popular. There is a huge choice of villas and apartments from Nerja to Estepona.Stay in Puerto Banus if you are after a little style but head for Mijas, Nerja, or Alhaurin if you prefer the more traditional white villages of Andalucia.

Children will love holidaying in the area as there is lots to do and see:
Teleferico Benalmadena: Cable car, donkey ride, falcony display and horse riding exhibition, plus walking routes for the more energetic

Selwo Marina, Benalmadena: Dolhinarium and Penguinarium where you can bathe amongst sea lions, Solphin, sea lion and exotic bird shows.

Selwo Aventura, Estapona: Elephants, giraffes, white rhino and Bengal Tigers. more than 2,000 animals and 1000 birds living in semi-freedom covering a million square metres. You can either walk or in a four wheel drive truck. Dont miss the flying fox, camel rides, overhead walk-ways, archery.

Gibralter
A 20 minute drive from Casares Del Sol. It is best to park in car park before the frontier gates, walk through into Gibraltar. Catch a bus into the main town (2 Euros return per adult). See the apes at the top, from there you can see Africa, visit also the caves, the fortification tunnels and much more. Of course don't forget to go VAT tax free shopping as well.

 
Marbella area
If there is any single place in world synonymous with style, that has to be Marbella. The city manages to maintain its past while continuing to grow and become one of the most important tourism destinations of Europe. The reason for its enormous success can be seen by wandering around its streets, and above all by enjoying its beautiful beaches.

Marbella offers the essence of quality tourism on the Costa del Sol, having the largest number of five star hotels in the province of Malaga. Furthermore, it is the second area in Spain as far as concentration of high-quality establishments is concerned.

Its very special landscape is the result of its location along the shores of the Mediterranean, protected from northern winds by the Sierra Blanca mountain range. The name, meaning the White Mountain Range, is not due to any snow that might be found on its peaks, but to the quantity of the marble found there, with its distinctively white colour. This privileged location forms a micro-climate, and Marbella can boast of almost 320 days of sunshine every year, and an average temperature of 19 degrees.

There are different ways to get to Marbella. By car, one can take the N-340, the old Costa del Sol highway that runs along the coast, or one can arrive on the recently opened Autopista del Sol, a little further inland. There is also a bus every half hour between Marbella and Malaga, which is 56 kilometres from Marbella. From Malaga, one can make connections to anywhere in the world from the international airport, the port or the railway station.

Marbella never sleeps. Daytime trips can include visiting its parks… strolling around the streets… the Roman and Moorish architecture… the museums, including the Bonsai Museum and the Spanish Contemporary Print Museum… the three marinas, Cabopino, Marbella, and the most famous of all, Puerto Banus… the modern Congress Hall… the unmistakably Andalusian streets… enjoying tapas in one of the many bars… and shopping in the specialised boutiques and shops.

But more than anything else, Marbella is famous for its beaches and its golf courses.



And, of course, we have 26 kilometres of beaches, more than twelve of which have been awarded the European Blue Flag for high standards. Starting from the furthest beach to the west, Guadalmina, we head eastwards across the beaches of San Pedro, Puerto Banús, Rio Verde, Nagueles, La Fontanilla, El Faro, Venus, Cable, Rio Real, Los Monteros, Las Chapas, ending on the most eastern beach in Marbella, which is Artola Beach. These gently sloping beaches are noteworthy for their fine golden sand, washed by the blue clear waters of the Mediterranean.

The apartment comes complete with an underground garage and lockable storage facility for things such as sports equipment, cycles etc. Guests are kindly requested to leave things such such childrens inflatables in the store room rather than in the apartment! The apartment is suitable for the elderly or less abled as it can be accessed by a lift, which also goes to the undergroung garage storage area. Not every apartment has one!!

Just a short note to tell you that we really enjoyed our stay at the apartment near Casares. It was very spacious, clean and tidy and was fitted to a high standard. We thought the pool was brilliant and it was good to see a member of the ground staff by the pool all during opening times. The golf course was excellent and the club house was very handy being within walking ( or staggering! ) distance. All local amenities were easy to find and the local beach was nice and sandy. We would be happy to stay there again and will be recommending you to our friends. By the way, I took my own Sky tv viewing card and it worked in your Sky box which gave me lots of English channels! Well!! Where to begin...! We had the most fantastic time at your apartment. It was absolutely lovely and very comfortable. You have thought of everything as far as the kitchen is concerned and I must say that the way you have customised it with the addition of the breakfast bar works very well. In our opinion, there was nothing whatsoever that the apartment lacked. The area is superb. We particularly like the beach and restaurants in Sabinillas - we went to the Chirinquitos a fair bit and found them to be of excellent quality - our children sampled all manner of seafood and that is a real testimony to the quality and presentation as they can be easily put off if it doesn't look quite right! Our favourite was Chirinquito El Paseo on the beach front at Sabinillas - past Green Olive, Restaurant Miel (we had a really really good meal there)/Argentinian Steak House etc. We also went to La Menorah at Finca Cortesin. I don't have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to describe the outstanding meal we had there. We would definitely want to return to your apartment next year! Mrs Janet Thomas Aug 2008
