Cabo Roig is a small coastal town, situated in the beautiful area of Orihuela Costa. Its low construction density together with severe restrictions on buildings height (max 7,5m in hight) and the fact that it is on a cape, make Cabo Roig a very tranquil place.
The area around Cabo Roig is covered with olive, orange, lemon and almond trees and vineyards providing inexpensive local wines.
Cabo Roig has a small, pretty marina, an excellent variety of local restaurants and bars, supermarket, open market nearby, and still retains its Spanish character.
All of these make Cabo Roig an idyllic setting for those wanting total peace and privacy. There are two beaches, all with crystal clear waters and all awarded with EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness.
For the golfers among you, there are 3 golf courses within 5km from the apartment, Villamartin, Golf Campoamor and Las Ramblas.Campoamor has a terrace bar and restaurant that are worth visiting even if you do not play golf.

The lounge area has a TV, DVD player and CD / Radio.
The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, oven and hob.
The bathroom comprises bath with overhead shower, wc and hand basin. There is also a seperate shower room with wc.
The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.
The entire roof terrace houses its own barbecue facilities, has magnificent views over the Mediterranean Sea and is for the use of all residents and guests
There is also a community swimming pool which has beautiful sea views
The apartment has its own parking space in the basement, and the block offers its own bar overlooking the sea.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the apartment.

Colin says: "Property was in excellent condition and well maintained. The owners encourage leaving old books, DVDs, CDs etc. Obviously not the latest blockbusters but still useful. In addition, there were several staple items, e.g. sugar, cleaning materials left for our use. We in turn left some items for the use of future guests. As the weather was unusually cold they had visited earlier in the day and warmed the flat with a portable oil fired heater.
The area has plenty of bars and restaurants, but there were not many other entertainment venues/attractions open, probably due to it being the end of January.
I would stay there again but not in the peak season, because I imagine that the area will be overcrowded."
