AlmaVerde is in a 36 hectare landscaped rural setting among mature oak, pine and carob trees in the heart of the Western Algarve. The site enjoys an elevated position with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. To the North, the site overlooks the traditional village of Barão de São Miguel, and to the South, the Burgau valley and coastal hills. The beach at the picturesque fishing village of Burgau is just three minutes by car, while the historic port of Lagos, with its colourful markets, attractive marina and vibrant nightlife, is only ten minutes away.  

Being 3km from the seafront, AlmaVerde has fantastic countryside views, and is ideal for a break whether you wish to relax on the beach or the privacy of your own pool, enjoy the local food and drink or be more active with watersports, horseriding, walking or playing golf. The complex is located close to Parque de Floresta and Boa Vista golf courses and within easy driving of most of the famous Algarve golf courses (31 in all!).

AlmaVerde is located 10 km West of Lagos on the EN125, the road linking Lagos to Sagres and Cape St. Vincent. With the opening of the new motorway extension to the western Algarve, the journey time from Faro International Airport to AlmaVerde Village & Spa is now a comfortable 60 minutes.
Faro is within a 3 hour flight of every major European city. There are frequent and inexpensive scheduled and charter flights from London’s airports to Faro. The flight takes two and a half hours. There are also direct flights from many other UK airports. Scheduled operators include British Airways (GB Airways), TAP, Easyjet and Monarch Airlines. Charter operators include Air 2000 and Monarch Airlines. Aer Lingus, Luxair & Ryanair also fly between Dublin and Faro.

The area is easily accessible from the new Lisbon-Algarve motorway and is only about 15 minutes or so away is colourful Lagos.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, cycling, tennis.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, mountain biking, golf, scuba diving, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find water skiing, horse riding, a zoo.
