We first visited Datca in the summer of 2001 and we could not believe what we found, a fantastic quality family owned hotel/apartment complex. At this time there were just three Villas built and one for sale, we jumped at the chance to buy on this idyllic location. Datca is a wonderful town, a former fishing villiage that has a charm of its own and somehow has been left 20 to 30 years behind the times. There are local building restrictions in that no-one can build up more than three stories high which means there are no high rise hotels operated by the usual mass holiday companies and you will not find any western fast food restaurants in Datca just good Turkish food at amazingly low prices. There is a saturday market too where you can buy local fruit and vegetables, local cheeses, tablecloths, lace, cushion covers and of course the usual designer shirts, shorts etc. Always bargain! Having a beer or a glass of wine by the harbour is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon or evening, just watching the world go by.

Datca is known throughout Turkey for its theraputic qualities with a high oxygen content in its air due to the meeting of the Mediterranean and Aegean seas and is considered to have the Worlds third highest level of oxygen in its air.

Datca is a laid back town with an understated quality of its own and has to be seen to be believed, one visit is most certainly not enough you will want to return time and time again, we did and we do! 

The Villa has been furnished with an East meets West theme with many Asian/Chinese pictures, bronzes, ornaments and furniture. The settees and beds are of comfortable western design and the extendable dining table and chairs are teak.The flooring throughout the Villa is of cooling stone, ideal for the warm to hot Datca climate. The patio has a stylish wooden garden set, ideal for BBQs and a relaxing evening meal if you decide to stay in one night. Marphe has an alternate therapist during the holiday season offering amongst other, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Reiki, Hot stone massage, Hypnotherapy (in English) and Indian Head massage. 

The complex has been designed by an award-winning architect from Istanbul who has a wonderful vision of how to integrate classic Turkish style with an eye for the best of western expectation. The design of traditional, Mediterranean buildings retain an authentic feel with typical white buildings with a traditional yellow and blue trim. The Villa is situated just above the Marphe gardens accessed by traditional stone steps that gives an impression you are ascending an old Turkish street adorned with an abundance of flora with antique tiles and mill stones set in the walls.  

2 large bedrooms, each bedroom has airconditioning, its own balcony and the twin bedroom has views over the Greek Island of Symi in the distance. Wireless internet conection is available via the hotels link. The patio has a stylish wooden garden & table set.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the Can be made available from the hotel manager, 1 double sofa bed located in the Master bedroom. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, vinyl records, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, a restaurant.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, scuba diving, shopping areas, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find sailing, historic sites.

A visit the Ancient ruins of Knidos is a must do activity and try and see the nearby Olive Farm.
