While a secure undergound parking facility is available upon renting the apartment, a car is not really essential as most attractions are within easy walking distance. Further, taxis are cheap, reliable and plentiful especially with a 24h rank in the nearby pl. Wolnica (200m away), by the Kazimierz Town Hall. They can also be ordered via local phones with English-speaking operators (eg, 9191).

The local tramline and busstops are 50m from the apartment for those wishing to vary their commuting experiences.

 

Kazimierz is a vibrant old neighborhood that reputedly has the largest concentration of multi-themed bars in Europe. With a young educated population, the bar scene is constantly evolving.
Local conviniences are to be found in pl Wolnica, about 200m away from the apartment. Galeria Kazimierz (http://www.galeriakazimierz.pl/) is the newest shopping mall in Krakow with a variety of shops and boutiques and is a gentle highly-recommended 15min walk away along the river.

Kevin says: "The flat was very elegant, the photos do not do it justice. The street it is in is very quiet, we were able to sleep with the windows open with no problem, but it is so close to the tram stop that travelling anywhere is also no problem. Get a 7 day ticket from one of the ticket machines and you have cheap unlimited travel at your door. I wholeheartedly recommend the apartment it was a very pleasent an relaxing place to stay and we would gladly visit again. If you are brave enough I would recommend getting the express transfer train from the airport to the central rail station and then get a number 10 or 40 tram to the flat - it is much cheaper than a taxi and you wont get cheated. All in all it was a great holiday and the apartment was a joy to stay in. "
