The centre of Luz with all its restaurants, beach bars, shops and other amenities is just a couple of minutes away. There is a small sandy beach very close to the property and the beautiful main beach with a European blue flag is just 5 minutes walk along the promenade. The lovely round swimming pool surrounded by lawns is shared between the 6 townhouses. Boavista is the nearest golf course just 5 minutes drive and there are numerous other courses within a short drive including Palmares, Floresta and Henry Cotton's Penina, host of the Portugese Open many times.  

This airconditioned property is recently constructed, beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The very large and impressive open plan lounge/dining area opens out onto a spacious terrace and lawn equipped with outdoor dining furniture and sunlounges. The wall to wall patio doors provide breathtaking views of the sea. The lounge has satelite TV (free channels only) and DVD. The 3 bedrooms are spacious with the double bedroom having an ensuite bathroom. The 2 seafacing bedrooms have sliding doors to a balcony. The kitchen is large with all modern appliances including cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. At basement level there is a storage area for golf clubs, bicycles, surf boards etc. Entry to the property is either through the main door at rear of the house or through the basement car park. 

Praia da Luz is a delightful, friendly and welcoming village. The range of facilities within 5 minutes walk are such that a car is not essential. There is a selection of excellent restaurants as well as bars, cafes, shops, supermarket etc. Leisure activities are plentiful with golfers and water sports enthusiasts particularily well served. Fishing, sailing, scuba diving, water skiing and surfing are all available in Luz. Equipment can be hired at the local beach. Horse riding, health spas, beauty salons and tennis courts are all also available in Luz.

Less than 10 minutes drive is the historical town of Lagos with its buslting town centre including fishmarket, shops, restaurants, bars and marina where Dolphin watching trips are available.
For anyone in need of major retail therapy there are two large shopping centres and retail parks in Guia (30 mins drive) and Faro (50 mins drive) offering a wide range of Portuguese and International shops etc.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the in one of the twin rooms in addition to the twins beds. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside a beach, swimming, fishing, walking, tennis, a theatre/cinema, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, cycling, horse riding, golf, historic sites, shopping areas.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a zoo.

Jon says: "Weve just returned from 10 days in Luz at this property. The property is just as described - in fact the photos dont begin to do it justice. All fixtures and fittings were of excellent quality (it was very comfortable and spacious too), the location was perfect right on the sea with local amenities (such as restaurants, bars and supermarkets) all within a short walk. Positioned where it is on the sea and away from the main roads, you couldnt wish for a more quiet and peaceful location. We had a little toddler with us (18 months) and a cot and high chair were provided. There were also plenty of towels provided (both bath and beach). The villa is nicely air conditioned to keep you cool on hot days, and when its a little cooler having the patio windows open with the breeze blowing through is perfect. We had 5 people in our party and there would have been plenty of room for more to stay (theres a double bed, 2 twin room with one of the twins also having a double sofa bed, plus a cot if required). If there was any problem it was with the pool - the pool isnt heated and the time of year we were there (1st week of June) we found it a little too cold to use, it was certainly too cold for our toddler. All in all though we had a great holiday which was as much to do with the villa as the resort. Hopefully well be back again soon. "
