This is a 19th Century Farmhouse, sitting in a typical Slovenian Village and surrounded by farmland and mountain vistas. Bohinjska Bela is just minutes from Bled with its relaxed café culture & wonderful lake. A 20 minute drive in the opposite direction takes you to Bohinj and into the vast Triglav National Park and the Julian Alps, a stunning area with a very wide range of sporting facilities & opportunities - you name it, its available.
The village of Bohinjska Bela is a peaceful place to return to after an active day with its own local shop, bars and restaurants.
The house sits in its own grounds with fruit trees, outdoor pool and an amazing cliff to the rear. Sit on your balcony,enjoy the magnificent mountain views while enjoying some of the excellent local beer or wines.

The owners of Farmhouse Katricnek, Ralph & Jo, live on site, so are on-hand to help with advice and recommendations. 

This is a newly created apartment inside this traditional house and is over two floors. It has one double master bedroom and a further twin room, ideal for kids but comfortably large enough for adults. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge which can hold two more guests if required. A large living room with kitchen area opens out onto the south facing balcony with spectacular views.
We aim to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Furniture beds and bedding are new and very high quality. We include a Welcome Pack of goodies, all kitchen & bathroom essentials and offer an optional Pack of Provisions of locally sourced essentials so that you dont need to run out to the supermarket as soon as you arrive. We provide towels, fluffy dressing gowns and slippers and more.  

ON SITE:
Enjoy our outdoor solar heated pool, or just relax in the garden and soak up the views.

SPORTS:
In terms of outdoor sports we can help you organise more activities that you can shake a stick at. From rafting and biking to paragliding in the summer to snowshoeing and ski touring in the winter, there are qualified instructors for every outdoor activity available. You can book in advance through us to guarantee your place (and avoid constantly having to put your hand in your pocket when you get there) or you can keep it flexible and we’ll help you arrange things once you arrive.

For climbers or those who want to give it a try, the Farmhouse really offers something special. The village of Bohinjska Bela is surrounded on the North side by a thirty-meter high cliff face and our garden backs directly on to a section of the cliff. You can climb in the privacy of back garden, (routes from 6a-8b) minutes from your own bathroom and without having to carry kit for miles, or you can stroll up through the village and enjoy one of the best climbing areas in the country (routes from 3 to 8b+).

GOLF:
Bled has one of the best golf courses in Slovenia. An 18 hole Kings Course (Par 73), plenty of T-offs, great surroundings, well stocked pro shop and a lovely restaurant. Prices from €60 (Sunday rates).

SKIING
There are many ski resorts in this area, the closest is just 10min drive away with a full day lift pass costing just € 15. All are low key, friendly places where you can enjoy your skiing with no queues and no fuss. We can arrange all kit and passes for you in advance, so you are good to go as soon as you get here. Don't even need to hire a car if you prefer.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Livingroom. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this apartment.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside swimming, climbing, walking, cycling, a food shop.

Close to the apartment you will find fishing, flying, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find skiing/snowboarding.

Helen says: " We very much enjoyed our stay in Apartment 3 & would not hesitate to recommend it. The accommodation is of a high standard & extremely comfortable. The setting is spectacular with beautiful views from the balcony, and the location at the base of a cliff is unique! The pool & hot tub are a major selling point if you have kids - ours made full use of both. The owners, Jo & Ralph, live in Apartment 4 - very helpful to have Brits on site to answer questions. Bohinska Bela itself it a very pretty village. Its well stocked shop, pub & restaurant are all within walking distance of the apartment. Lake Bled is 5 mins away in the car, Lake Bohinj about 25mins. Both are beautiful & offer a diverse range of activities to suit all ages. In addition there are many other excursions with in easy reach. Although popular, the area is not overrun with tourists. Prices are reasonable, and whilst you wont hear many English voices, we found most Slovenians knew enough so we could be easily understood & there were no language barrier issues. "
