There is a living-dining room with fire place and a double sofa-bed, kitchen with dining-table, three twin bedrooms, one double bedroom and two bathrooms. 

The house has a lawn and some beautiful palm trees, both covered and uncovered terraces, a private swimming-pool (10m x 5m), barbecue, and it is situated in a quiet zone in the countryside.

 

Famous for being discovered by a group of artists in the 1930's, CALA D'OR (9 km. distance) is a lively area surrounded by pine-covered headlands and typical whitewashed Spanish buildings. It was formerly a fishing village, and now it is Mallorca’s largest holiday community. Cala d'Or has some of the best shops on Mallorca, with leather shops and chic boutiques where you can often find designer clothes at reasonable prices. Here you will also find an elegant yatch marina, surrounded by waterfront bars and numerous beaches.

The nearby village of Porto Petro is a lot more traditional than Cala d'Or; it has a pretty port with many great fish restaurants serving the catch of the day.

If you find yourself with nothing to do on a Sunday, then visit Felanitx (7 km. away) and its market where you can buy some local pottery and authentic local craft.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a summer house, a south facing patio area, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, fishing, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, a sports center, scuba diving.

alison says: "We enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and comfortable. I was genuinely surprised how spacious the villa was. The kids thoroughly enhoyed the pool because it was massive and there was plenty space and sunbeds around to relax in the sun. On the downside - the front doors do not lock very well and security could be much improved. It didnt help matters that we were robbed of a PSP while we were there. In through a bedroom window and out again. The police have been notified. I was anxious about all the wasps in the pool and i subsequently found 3 wasps nests that do need attention. one is over the front door in the roof tiles (the sleepy wasps fall over into the main walkway into the house so i had to maintain the kids keep their shoes on) a second to the side of the house and a third just over the farside wall of the pool at the field. The emergency telephone number was useless as it had not been assigned to a customer so i had no one to help me. We had one visit from the pool cleaner who spoke no english and no contact from the owner which would have been nice if possible., I also provided pegs. A dustpan and brush would have been helpful too. Overall yes its a lovely property, Security a big let down and i wanted to come home as is didnt feel safe. single mum 3 kids. And i didnt know how to tackle the pet lizard in the living room apart from shut the doors!!! "
