A £300 security bond is required when you pay your remaining balance and will be held by us and returned to you within 14 days of your holiday providing we have confirmation no damage has occurred during your stay.

Arrival time is after 4pm. Villa Lindos Kalliopi must be vacated by 10 a.m on day of departure.

Many flight options exist to fly into Rhodes from most airports.

We suggest looking at online sites from companies such as TRAVEL JUNGLE - this lists most of the flight operators to Rhodes and Greece and also OPODO which lists many WORLDWIDE airports to depart from.

GETTING TO RHODES OUT OF SEASON:

With 300 days + of sunshine,even when the main Rhodes season ends at the end of October the island is still a popular destination. Quieter but still warm and delightful. Much to savor and enjoy.

There are many flight options when it comes to reaching Rhodes in the winter months.

UK flights direct to Rhodes cease at the end of October and resume in March,but a easy change at Athens gets you to Rhodes in no time regardless and is a straightforward connection. Youll also notice that the flight times can be much more agreeable and civilised.

And with cheaper,out of season rental prices at Villa Kalliopi you will be able to arrange a top class break at a much reduced cost.

Rhodes lies approx 11 miles (18 km) to the west of the Turkish shores, situated between the Greek mainland & the island of Cyprus.

The island of Rhodes is shaped like a spearhead, 79.7 km long and 38 km wide with a total area of approximately 1,398 km² (540 square miles) and a coastline of approximately 220 km. Plenty to explore if you wish....?

The city of Rhodes is located at the far northern end of the island, including the site of the ancient and modern commercial harbor.

In terms of flora and fauna, Rhodes is closer to Asia Minor than to the rest of Greece.

The interior of the country is mountainous, sparsely inhabited,with the occasional,unspoilt villages and covered with forests of Pine and Cypress.

The Aegean Sea & the Mediterranean Sea provide breathtaking coastline.

We also recommend a 15 minute drive to Glistra beach-another "secret" gem.

Other highlights we can suggest are Monolithos Castle,perched on a rock 787 feet high and dating from before 1480,you will enjoy the most amazing views.

Climb towards Mount Profitis Ilias and the forest filled route will take you to sites many a tourist never venture. One such site is a 14th Century Byzantine Chapel,named Nikolaos Foundoukli (Saint Nicholas of the Hazelnuts)and is worth a visit for the magnificent and ancient wall paintings inside.

The village of Siana stands on the south side of the 823-m high Mount Akramytis and is famous for exquisite honey & the impressive church of Agios.

Hunt down the quaint water side taverna when you drive down the glorious Glyfada Bay. Our personal favourite place on Rhodes!

You could choose the odd Winery,Olive Grove,a sandy or a pebble beach,breathtaking archaeological sites,a quiet life or a vibrant night life-Rhodes is the perfect place to find absoloute balance.

DISTANCES AND TRAVEL:

With car hire direct from Rhodes Airport well represented you will be able to hire your car at a reasonable rate and be at Villa Lindos Kalliopi within 40 minutes.It is a simple,straightforward run between the airport to your Villa.

We will recommend a company to use should you wish.

Rhodes,should you wish to explore,is all yours.

With excellent roads,easy to navigate & in good condition you can do as much or as little driving as you want.

If you wish to see more of the island and become more enchanted by it`s great charms we suggest at least 3 days car hire.

Similary,to get to Rhodes Town it will only take you around 40 minutes from the Villa.

Lindos & the magnificent Acropolis is a 2 minute car ride.

The nearby Pefkos is a real treat,with good quality restaurants and bars. Pefkos is around 2.5km away and also has magnificent beaches,shops and tavernas.

5km further from Pefkos is Lardos,this offers a more traditional glimpse of Greek life and has much to offer.

40 minutes away is Prassonissi,the most southerly position of the island and is a favorite with Windsurfers.

The entire island is a pleasure to drive around on and all areas simple to navigate to in a relative short time.

We are Philip Williams and Peter Wilcock. We have a strong interest in interior design. A lot of our work has featured in (UK) national interior magazines and the national press. Our career is now very much focused on interiors and gardens.

We are now Cheshire based in the U.K.

But we needed a little more....

For a number of years now we have dreamt of owning a holiday home somewhere on Rhodes.

It is only this year,on our third visit to the island,that we stumbled across the construction of Villa Kalliopi in the most gorgeous and quiet Lindos Vliha Bay.

We were blown away by the attention to detail the developer had. The vision matched our standards and we felt very confident in deciding to buy our first home on Rhodes.

What made our mind up was also the views from the pool terrace. They are sensational. They make you feel like a star.

We are proud to be the owners.

We are excited waiting to see it get finished and want to share it with other discerning Rhodes holiday makers who understand and want a great quality of life.




 

Villa Lindos Kalliopi is furnished to a very high standard throughout. Good quality towels and bed linen. It will be geared to comfortably accomodate up to six people staying. The private use swimming pool is just that-private sole use for those who have rented the villa. The Views are spectacular,front line and uninterrupted of the Mediterranean Sea and Vlicha Bay.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

No specific disabled facilities provided at the moment but the property is easy to get to from driveway,a couple of steps into front door. The ground floor accomodation is all on one level and entrance to sun terrace is a step down. 

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, walking, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find boat hire, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, golf, historic sites, shopping areas.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find scuba diving, a museum, a theatre/cinema.

18 hole championship Golf 15 min away by car. Hiking Tour - Lindos to the Tomb of Kleobulos.

Water Park is 20 mins away by car.

Review submitted by non-Villarenters customer: Having booked the villa 16 months ago in preparation for a family wedding on the island, we were delighted to finally welcome the Ball family from West Sussex, June / July 2009.....

"Dear Peter and Phillip

We arrived at the villa 1.30 a.m on the Sunday morning - tired and very hungry, but on turning the key and entering the villa we thought we were in a pop stars "crib"! (Caitlin's words in reference to "MTV`s Cribs" - a show about the beautiful homes of celebrities!) It was FANTASTIC! It was also VERY BEAUTIFULL to see the pool all lit up as we looked out! And best of all FOOD had been left for us in the fridge and in cupboards! Ice cold CHAMPAGNE to toast our arrival was also waiting!! I could go on and on....

The views at the villa are to die for! And as for Dad he has got the most fantastic suntan on one leg and one arm! He sat in the same chair in your outdoor living area, under the shaded terrace, all week! In his words: "The views from here Kev are fantastic!!" with his binoculars poised at the ready (yet another extra added by you guys).

Dad also found the easy access to the toilet and wet room / shower room downstairs very accommodating.

It was HOT outside and lovely and cool inside!

The interior decor is stunning and VERY stylish - both upstairs as well as downstairs. The kitchen is very well equipped. Music, video games all on hand and plenty of DVD`s for Caitlin and Linda. The Internet access that you provide was great for Caitlin! COLD beer in the fridge for me! LUXURIOUS sunbeds for Linda! Dad in his favorite outdoor chair - in short - everybody was catered for! !!!!!

The day of the family wedding was more than I or Linda could have hoped for - and the same for the bride and groom, Lauren and Rob. The church was like a film set and the words spoken by the town clerk were so poignant (not a dry eye in the house)!

Your back up team you use in Rhodes (Savvaidis & Associates Property Management) did not let you down. Kim had made sure that the cleanliness throughout was faultless and the attention to detail was perfect! We asked Kim for more time to vacate on the departure day and we were given till 12 noon - FANTASTIC service!

Thank you for all your advice, kindness and patience in helping us with all our preparations. We have really enjoyed our correspondence over the (almost) two years.

I can also say, from this short stay AND thanks to the two of you, I am now closer to my Father than I have ever been before! x
