Villa Evalena is a Cyprus Stone build villa with swimming pool and a large garden.
It is situated in a quiet area of Tochni village, with excellent views of the surrounding hills and the sea from the two verandas. There is a large yard with mature fruit trees, flowers and a swimming pool with sun beds.
The attractive complexes comprise four traditional houses, furnished with comfort in mind. All have either a balcony or a patio where you can relax in the sun, when you’re not lying on a sun bed around the swimming pool.
The villa can be rented as a whole house for 16 persons, or as four separate apartments. 2 one bedroom apartments and 2 two bedroom apartments
 

All, six bedrooms have double traditional style beds, decorated with original Cypriot materials, and they all have in suite facilities. There is air conditioning in all rooms Hot& Cold.

 

All four kitchens are open plan with sitting room and dinning table and they are fully equipped with a cooker, fridge, toaster, hair dryer and iron and TV. There is a washing machine for use by all guests.

In the village where the evalena is situated, and less than 500 hundred metres, there are traditional restaurants, bank, and mini market. There is a horse riding centre near by, Water Park, Zoo, Camel Park as well as a biker centre. Limassol tourist area where you can enjoy night life is only 15 minutes drive, Water parks, seasonal festivals like...Wine Festival or Carnival, and so many ancient places of interest. Governor's Beach,is only 6 kilometres away!

The villa comprises 6 bedrooms in total; 4 double, 2 twin and 4 cots, 6 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 16 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 4 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television.

There is room for 15 in the living room and 15 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside climbing, walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, a sports center, scuba diving, historic sites, a zoo, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find flying, skiing/snowboarding, golf, tennis, a museum, a theatre/cinema.

Water parks, seasonal festivals like,Wine Festival or Carnival..

Teresa says: "The villa was lovely, very clean and well equipped. The owner was very helpful and organised car hire and transfer to and from the villa. The village is beautiful and very unspoilt. The locals were very friendly and the taverners were good value for money. There were 8 children in our party ranging from age 6 to 14 and they loved the freedom of the villa and happily amused themselves in the pool. Within half hours drive of the villa there is a lovely water park, scuba diving, banana boats etc. not once did the kids moan they were bored (admittedly we cheated and took a playstation). The only down sides were the fact that there was no bbq as advertised or iron. And what isn't shown in the pictures is the fact that the pool is situated some distance from the villa, is not lit up at night so sitting out by the pool after 8.30pm is not an option, and it is not completely private, one of the owners lives directly next to the pool and does make use of it at times along with his family and friends. Our teenage daughters were uncomfortable with this. There were also restrictions with the pool such as no swimming after 8pm and we were asked to stop the children from diving and jumping in as water is in short supply and we were warned that the pool would close if we didn't comply, we were also told not to leave inflatables in the pool overnight, it did feel at times as though we were using someone elses pool and not having exclusive use of a private pool as advertised. Overall it was a fantastic, relaxing holiday and I would definately return to the village although probably a different villa with a more private pool and a less enthusiastic neighbour!"

Thank you for staying at Evalena Villa for your holiday and for the good part of your comments.

However I was surprised to read about the “Down sides” which I don’t believe it was something that couldn’t be settled if you would just call me and let me know like you did when it was a little problem with the boiler. I expected that you should recognize that I am a responsible person and I wouldn’t hesitate to take your part if you were right with any misunderstanding with my partner. I had arranged your transportation, I met you personally and I had asked you that if there was any problem with any body or anything you could call me and I was ready to help.
I would like to make some comments to some points you mention as “down sides”.
The bbq was available and was offered by us to be brought to the apartments whenever you wanted. The irons are also available for use they are just not kept in the apartments. However we will discuss this to reconsider having both these items already in the apartments in future.

The fact about the pool being a distance from the pool is misleading for other readers, as the comment ‘quite a distance’ could mean a few meters to a few kilometers! There are no photos on the site showing that the pool is in front of the house but it is mentioned that surrounding the villa there is a large yard with mature fruit trees, flowers and swimming pool with sun beds. The pathway from the fruit trees orchid leads to the pool so the distance as you mention is only a few meters away; to be exact it is 20 meters away.
There is big sign at the pool stating: NIGHT SWIMMING PROHIBITED, NO DIVING, CHILDREN MUST BE ATTENDED AT ALL TIMES. These restrictions you will find at all pools whether in a villa complex or hotel. These rules are made for the safety of our guests and not to restrict. Using an exclusively shared pool does not mean that guests should not care about wasting water by diving which is not allowed anyway for safety reasons and leaving inflatables in the pool overnight may cause damage to the pool suction pump if the skimmers are blocked. I think there must have been a misunderstanding about any warning of the pool being closed if you did not comply; this was not our intention at all.
The fact about that one of the partners using the pool after hours was not intended to make you feel uncomfortable and we apologize about this, we will be discussing this matter and make sure this will not happen again but again if this discomfort had been mentioned to me personally it would have been brought to my partner attention immediately.
We hope that you will re-consider some of the ‘down sides’ on your review.
