Like many people who have fallen in love with this island and its unique way of life, we decided to buy a property on Ibiza and following various trips to and from the island fell upon Casa Alegria. The first time we walked in here it felt like home and everyone that has come here says the same thing. Casa Alegria (Alegria means Joy or Happiness!) was built in 1969 and was one of the first houses to be built on this road (Punta Blanca). It is one of the original “hippy” houses in Ibiza and, over the years, has had many guises, including at one stage a "spiritual" hotel.

The apartment takes up the entire first floor of Casa Alegria, an English owner-occupied house situated in a private cul-de-sac between Niu Blau and Cala Pada beaches just north of Sta Eularia.

The location is one of the finest points of the apartment.Through the main gate and turn left and you will see Niu Blau beach through the trees at the end of the road. Turn right, and right again and a short walk brings you to Cala Pada beach with its ferry service to Sta Eularia and onward to Eivissa and Formentera.

All renters of the apartment have access to the large pool and gardens during the daytime up to 19.00hrs. After that time renters will be asked to restrict their time to the apartment and roof terrace/bbq area.

Please note the owners occupy the ground floor which has open access to the pool area, however you will be given as much privary as you need during your time by the pool.

 

The resturant capital of Ibiza- Santa Eularia is 5 mins drive, and the cosmopolitan Eivissa (Ibiza Town) with its reknowned bars and clubs is a further 15 min drive.

We do recommend hiring a car to maximise your stay.
 

Please note that the apartment is on the first floor of Casa Alegria and renters have shared access to the pool and gardens with the owners main house until 19.00hrs only.Please note the apartment does not have wheelchair accesss.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this apartment.

Pets are not welcome

The location of the apartment means you will hear some noise, though not excessive. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, scuba diving.

Close to the apartment you will find horse riding, historic sites, a museum, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find golf, a theatre/cinema, a themepark.
