We have been visiting Medulin for last four years. We love the climate, the food , and the people. Last year we decided to look for a property and we found this one. It is in a lovely quiet location , with an unspoilt view of the sea. The shops , bars and restaurants are all only a short walk away, but out of earshot. My wife wanted to be near the sea , and this is perfect. The beach nearby is ideal for the children, as it is very shallow , very safe, and very clean. The food is cheap as well! 

A car is not essential , as Pula airport is only a short taxi ride away. However Istria has many lovely places to visit both on the coast and inland, so a car would be useful. The road system in Istria is excellent, with lots of money recently spent on upgrading the road network. 

There is something for everybody. The local hotels all have water sports for hire. There is fishing, scuba diving, boat hire. There is golf nearby, you can hire sailing boats, horse riding, and also cycle hire. If you like walking, there are many coastal paths. Bird watching is also very good. If you like history, then Pula is steeped in this , with lots to see. The local beach is sandy, with others shingle or rock. There are also numerous nudist beaches if this takes your fancy. There is also a pool available to use for a small fee at the Hotel Arcus approximately 200m from the apartment.

AS A VISITOR TO CROATIA YOU MUST REGISTER WITHIN 48 HOURS AT A TOURSIST OFFICE AND PAY THE VISITORS TAX. THIS IS APPROXIMATELY 1 EURO PER DAY PER ADULT WITH REDUCTIONS FOR CHILDREN. IT VARIES DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF YEAR. SANDI WILL ASSIST YOU WITH THE PAPERWORK AND WHERE TO GO. HOWEVER YOU MUST ATTEND IN PERSON WITH YOUR PASSPORT AND REGISTER. THIS MAY SAVE YOU A FINE WHEN YOU TRY TO LEAVE CROATIA!

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the LIVING ROOM. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has a west facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside a restaurant.

Close to the apartment you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, shopping areas, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find flying, golf, historic sites, a museum.

Debbie says: "A beautifully clean and well-maintained apartment, in a lovely quiet area right on the waterfront, but just a few minutes walk from restaurants, bars, shops and a bank. My only gripe - and this is no reflection on the propertys owner - was noise from the apartment above in the second week I was there. And I searched high and low but couldnt find the ironing board! Otherwise, a superb base for exploring the town and beyond. Thanks, Steve."
