Ocean View house has recently been built but it`s been carefully designed to blend into the landscape. The front of the house facing the Atlantic Ocean is built with local indigenous stone.

The driveway sweeps around to the car park at the back of the house away from the views where the front door is located. You enter the house through a porch and then into the main hall. The hallway has an impressive hand crafted wrought Iron and wood staircase, oak floors and large velux window flooding the area with light. 

Kitchen/Dining room: On entering the kitchen/ dining room the first thing that strikes you is the space. To the left is the French oak kitchen, it has a traditional feel but is equipped with all modern appliances. To the right is the Spacious Dining area, the large oak dining table (seats 10) and leather chairs are positioned beside a very large window which looks out directly onto the Atlantic Ocean and Blasket Islands.

Conservatory/Sun Room: Just off the kitchen this room is really special. The materials used are primarily Wood and Glass. You really get the best of both worlds in this room, it also has spectacular views of the Islands & Atlantic ocean but the main feature is the view of the river and the noise of the running water as it flows down the valley and into the sea. The rivers bank is scattered with colorful and scented wild flowers and all of this is literally within a hands throw of the sunroom. (All within 20 yards)

Main Bathroom: The main bathroom is fitted with nice contemporary fittings and cream Mosaic tiles. It has a deep free standing bath, which sits in two wooden cradles. Great place to soak and unwind any weary muscles or minds.

Sitting Room: - The sitting room again is very spacious and bright. The Oak flooring compliments the large Victorian red brick open fireplace. The colour scheme is very natural; the walls are painted light beige complete with linen curtains and blinds in creams. The two large sofas and armchair are made of Brown Italian Leather. The room is very elegant and comfortable. Most of the sitting room faces onto to the Ocean and Islands. French doors lead out onto a sea facing wooden decking. A great place to sit back and enjoy the breath taking views of the Blasket islands and Gardens.

There are two bedrooms downstairs - One double bed and one twin room. 

Upstairs there are 3 spacious Bedrooms. The master bedroom is very large as with the rest of the house the colour scheme is very simple and bright. It has a super king size wooden sleigh bed, a walk in wardrobe and a nice sized en suite with WC & shower.

*The second double room has a king size sleigh bed. Again there is a large ensuite in this room complete with WC & shower.

*The last bedroom is another twin room - Two single beds that can be put together comfortably.

The grounds around the house are set on 1 acre of gardens, with one large wildflower sunken garden. There are two flagstone patios one down by the river which has a stone built BBQ and a very sheltered spot away from everything. The other is just outside the sunroom & kitchen.

The country house comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The country house has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The country house has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this country house.

There is a fully equipped bathroom on the ground floor along with 2 choices of bedrooms ( Dbl & Twin) Accessibility may prove slightly difficult around the grounds of the house but inside is very suitable 

The country house is in a very quiet area. It has a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, a west facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque.

The country house is right beside walking.

Close to the country house you will find a beach, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, historic sites, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the country house you will find sailing, scuba diving, shopping areas.

Blasket Island Ferries only 5 mins away,

Many local Restuarants offer great fresh sea food all year round.
