This lovely apartment was built by the previous owner of the villa Casa do Pescador and is situated above that same property.
This makes it an ideal base combined with Casa do Pescador for very large families and parties wishing to stay together as the 2 properties combined can accomodate 12 adults and young children on top.

The apartment was very cleverly designed by a renowned local architect who maximised every inch of available space.

The accomodation contains an entrance hall, lounge area, galley kitchen, large bathroom and 2 double bedrooms, add to this the wonderful large balcony and you have an ideal base for a truly relaxing holiday.

Bedroom 1 is a good sized double with fitted wardrobes, built in drawer units with vanity unit above, and underbed storage, as the owner has kitted it out for his own holiday use it also has a TV but the best feature is the door leading to the balcony, just lie in bed and listen to the sea, what better way to go to sleep.

The second bedroom is again a double designed just like the first with fitted wardrobes, and underbed storage, free standing chest of drawers and chair, and space for a child cot if required.

The open plan lounge/kitchen area whilst not huge has been well furnished to maximise space, there is a comfy settee seating 3 - 4, and a good quality folding table and cushioned chairs if required for dining, (or perhaps the odd game of cards!) Also equipped with TV, Sky, CD, DVD, Internet access, (small charge to be made for use of) and many other features.

The galley kitchen has a breakfast bar seperating it from the lounge area and is kitted with everything that you would need to prepare a super meal. Full cooker, microwave, kettle, blender, toaster, pots & pans, crockery, glasses & cutlery etc. High chair provided on request.

Good sized bathroom containg full bath with shower over, toilet, bidet and vanity unit, the washing machine is also tucked away in its own little space in the bathroom.

All linen and towels are provided for use in the apartment, but not beach towels.


 

Casa Peixinhos balcony runs the full length of the apartment and easily accomodates table and chairs and 4 full length sunbeds.

It is a perfect sunbathing balcony that has the added advantage of stunning sea and village views whilst not being overlooked at all and is draped with bougainvillea and colourful pot plants.

Being built above the villa it has a gently sloping roof in front so adventurous children are not at risk from falling.

 

Burgau is one of the few remaining working fishing villages left in the Algarve, its history is of smuggling and the many winding cobbled paths and smugglers alleys all add to its charm.
There are 24 restaurents and bars within the village boundaries, and you are never far away from a wonderful meal whether it be fresh fish, one of the local dishes or perhaps a steak they cater for every taste and pocket.

Burgau is serviced by a good bus service and taxis, but we always recomend car hire for guests where possible and are happy to book them for you at the best prices available. 

The apartment is in an idilyc situation and the beautiful village and sea views are superb. The apartment is situated above 'Casa do Pescador' so is ideal for families and very large parties wishing to stay together.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this apartment.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque.

Darren says: "the property was fantastic. perfect location. very private. loved the balcony. the directions to the property were perfect. we rented alot of other properties in our 5 weeks in spain/portugal & france, and this one was by far the best. If i was to be really picky, my only suggestions would be to remove the kitchen door ( as we did, and it looked like other people had done ) as it slammed if any other doors were open, and it swung the wrong way and always seemed to be in the way."
